Two days to make it a bike
Be sure to have bike grease and chain lub on hand as part of your purchase. After fighting the first day with the front brake assembly we found the read tire didn't spin freely. Second day took apart the rear hub to find that two of the bearings didn't have any bike grease. Greased all the parts and after several attempts to rebuild the rear it works good now.Bike chain has no chain lub, don't forget to put that one as well. Tassels we purchased didn't fit the hole in the handles, need to make the hole bigger, but can't blame the bike for that.Another tip, fill the tires with 7psi and then push the tire to fit the rim and then fill up to 32 psi, I don't trust it'll survive 35.TLDR: If you like building bikes for a living, enjoy this DIY kids bike with low quality parts.

A bit disappointed
I am sharing our first impression on this 18” wheel purple / red colod bike that was purchased for our daughter; The box was in mint condition as it arrived as well as all components besides the basket that showed some wear but after inspecting the bike and putting it together we found that the bearing housing were the pedals go has 2 deep cracks with very sharp edges that go through… this was our big let down.As the bike was carefully put together we noticed the bearings on the pedals were assebled poorly creating a clacking noice as it is being tryied out so my husband re did the assembly and fixed it. In addition the rear wheel was not aligned at all so it whobles up and down and side to side as oppose to the front one that came in reasonably aligned. We do worry about the cracks on the bearing housing as they can become a split (see pictures)We liked the bike as my daugher too, colors and size are very nice but we got a pickle so we need to rate it with 2 stars, I am surprised since this brand has been very reasonable for us in the past.

BEWARE THE SELLER!!!
The bicycle itself is great, easy assembly with minimal tools required just make sure you have metric Allen keys and wrenches. That being said do not no matter what you do buy from a seller calling themselves “Sams Club Store Distributer” they sent me a bike that had been used and returned in a box with no packing or wrapping to protect it, it was a complete piece of garbage when it arrived. Thanks to the Amazon customer service dept it was refunded and a new one was received in two days but not from the seller I mentioned, Amazon made good on their commitments to quality and adjusted the price difference. The seller responded to my review of them with lies about how it was lost in transit and that they refunded me, uh no. Then they went on to say I should remove my review as it would hurt their business, again no they hurt their own business the review stays and now is doubled up. After some research they have nothing to do with the actual Sam’s Club.
