Better than the originally installed
I bought a couch from Rooms to Go which of course had the plastic handles. We all know what is eventually going to happen with the plastic handles. For the cost of the couch the handles to lift out the foot rest should have been made from this aluminum to start with but that's not what they put in the couches. One of mine broke and I replaced it with one of these - WELL worth the money. Quality is GOOD, it's easy to install. So I bought another one for the second handle which hasn't broken yet despite the fact it's plastic - but it will eventually - and when it does I will already have the part on hand. I could go ahead and change it out but I guess the old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it" applies here. At any rate, my first mistake was buying anything from Rooms To Go, but where I live there aren't a lot of choices. Other than the handles, the couch is a good quality couch but when the part (handle) broke I called to see if it was covered under my warranty. Of course not. So, they tried to have me order a replacement part from them for $30+ dollars and I was determined that I wasn't going to give those bastards any more of my money since they couldn't send me a replacement for free at the cost I paid for the couch. I knew I could find a replacement much cheaper. Very happy I found CBTone. I hope you guys will be around for a long, long time in case I need another replacement part for something else. Thank you for a decent product at a decent price.

Much cheaper than new furniture.
Once we figured out what we were meant to be doing (thanks, YouTube) this worked like a charm! Easy install and feels like good heavy duty quality. My only gripe is that it's a bit difficult to screw the handle to the furniture but that may be either the shape of the sofa or my inexperience. Would definitely recommend!

Parts Available through Amazon, yes!
Even though China is guilty of intellectual property theft, it’s great to be able to purchase inexpensive replacement parts not offered by the manufacturer through amazon. The recliner lives on.

Great handle
Worked perfectly for our recliner couch! Love the fact that it's metal and won't break like the plastic handle it replaced. May do the rest of the handles because this one is so much nicer!

Very good value
Chair is working better than when it was new because this is medal and it's was ues to replace the plastic one that was original to chair the lift is very smooth and the foot comes up to the full and stays up

Make sure you measure all the lengths for the correct replacement.
Very happy with this handle. I had a customer who kept breaking the plastic models, I was surprised to find this was a metal handle. Happy customer happy me.

Same size but we still had to rig it
Had to stretch the wire to get it to fit but it did work
