Not a good teaching tool
Not impressedI had hoped for more illustrationsSince I bought it for my 14 year old granddaughter who is military overseas and I can’t teach herShe had asked to learnThis book will not be very helpful

I'm fairly new to sewing, so I was excited this was free AND the description said there was step by step photos...I just finished it and there are NOT step by step photos.

Very beginner
Simple. Informative. Not overwhelming. Definitely one day- love the Efficient and precise information provided here. Would recommend. Highly enjoyable for beginners.

Very basic, no pictures, nothing about sewing with a machine.
3 small photos in the book. A very basic book about different hand sewing stitches. If you have never, ever picked up a needle and thread, this may be helpful.

It's a very basic starter book. If you haven't ever sewn before, it might be helpful, but if you have any experience whatsover, you might want to try another book.

Very basic sewing techniques and very good writing. I felt like I could sew anything after I read this book!

Easy to read and understand for a 9 years old girl who is starting to sew
I gave this book to my 9 years old grand-daughter who started to sew clothes for her cats and dog few months ago after having received a real sewing machine for her birthday. I don't know if she began to read the book because they are moving to a new home so, everything is packed. I looked at it a little and it seems easy to read and understand to me (but sewing is not one of my skill). I'll give a better review in few months. Sorry. Suzanne
