This is a super cool bag! It was an impulse/splurge for me, and I had never seen a bag like it, but turns out this is technically a knock off of the Issey Miyake "Bao Bao" bag that are hundreds of dollars and sell at Saks and such. I've never seen one of those bags up close so I can't speak to how they compare, but for like $30 this is a nice, cool, unique, spacious, and functional bag. I don't think it's going to be that durable, so it's more for special occasions for me as I'm more of a utilitarian, crossbody type gal (this, by the way, can function as a crossbody if need be, but I used it as a normal adult over one shoulder). And by not-durable, I mean it looks like the outside tiles could get scuffed up, bent, or possibly peel. I was worried it wouldn't feel comfortable or the tiles would snag, but that hasn't been an issue. A dog splattered mud on it and it cleaned up nicely.And yeah, there's that cool photo flash feature (photo included of flash and no-flash). This is actually super cool when you're walking in the dark and a car approaches. I was carrying this in the pouring rain and crossing the street and I legit stopped traffic with it, it was pretty cool. I also had some evil fun taking this to a wedding and having my bag do some photo-bombs...

So, I read the negative reviews and beyond a few who didn’t like the bag for its size or were sent the wrong style of bag, most were complaining about the bag’s quality or that it didn’t “change color”, which I think is unfair. Let me preface by saying I just got this bag recently so I cannot review the quality over a length of time. BUT I AM an independent seamstress. I create and sew custom clothing and accessories that I sell, and I have also made bags before. After inspecting the bag, nothing stood out to me as being of terrible quality. Is it the absolute best? No, but it’s a $25 bag. People need to have realistic expectations. You can’t buy a $25 bag from amazon and expect Hermès quality. Also, the bag isn’t supposed to necessarily “change color” like some are expecting, and the pictures do not falsely advertise that. It clearly says in the description and on on the pictures that it’s flash reflective. It also shows the bag in normal light as compared to flash lighting. The bag does exactly what it’s supposed to and looks how it should look.Overall, I genuinely like it. It’s subtle on its own which makes it easy to carry with you anywhere, but it’s still fun and bold when you use it around certain lighting. The size is perfect for me. My ONLY complaint thus far is that I wish the inside had more pockets to store things. I will update this review if I run into any issues.

It's gray but not as gray as I thought it would be. The dark charcoal gray has a subtle color shift that shines across it kind of like a muted version of an oil slick. When I took pictures using the flash the pictures of it glowed like crazy! I didn't notice that glow with my naked eyes, only in the pictures. Maybe it happens too fast or maybe I was too close to see it properly but either way is a really cool purse. Its a good size too, easily accommodating my wallet, phone, Kindle (included in the 5th and 6th pictures for a sense of scale) and other random stuff but at a fraction of the cost. Great buy.

I love the understated colors in regular light the the explosion of color in flashes of light. In some light it looks grey. It is stiff where the "leather" is and very flexible between the pieces.It arrived early the purse is better than I expected it to be.

I'm so happy with it being larger than I'd expected!!!! It's constructed well & the "luminosity" is BRILLIANT! When I opened it, I popped on the shoulder strap & gave it a close inspection. At that point, I took the purse into a dimly lit room. When the flashlight hit it....BOOM!!! Oh, the colors!!! 🌈 I'm as tickled as a kid at Christmas lol! High hopes that it has a long life 😁 If you're unsure about buying this purse for ANY reason.... don't be!!! BUY IT!!!!!

This is a super cool purse. Even when the colors are not shining brightly, It looks cool and interesting. But I’ve found is that it looks different to everyone in the room. It might look dull to you but someone across the room sees vibrant colors and someone else sees cool tones of blue and purple. I absolutely love it because it’s unique and different without having to be garish or cliche. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons. 1) the stitching does not seem of the highest quality. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing coming undone and every stitch is in place. But I have a lot of experience with these things and my feeling is that there will be loose threads or a detached zipper in 6 months. I could be wrong, we will see. The zipper is real metal and not plastic so that’s a good sign. It’s more the stitching on the straps I’m concerned about over time. There is an included shoulder strap which is also bioluminescent. So that’s cool.2) because the straps could stand to be a bit cooler. They feel a tad plasticy. Some leathery or feaux leather straps would be a good improvement in my opinion.I’ve included pics in a couple different lighting settings to show you. I’m really glad I made this purchase. I can’t wait to show it off.
