Never Again !!
Having ordered uncle bob bed slats before I would say that I have a previous understanding of the product and was happy with my first order hence the reorder. However that happiness of the product was short lived and this second order completely sub par for the below reasons;1. The poor packaging of the item which led to some of the slats being damaged in transit.2. The dodgy workmanship of the slats themselves - poorly cut, wonky lines, fraying edges, unfinished product on one side of every slat, and poorly constructed over all with layers coming apart - all before they have even been used so I really question their integrity and ability as a bed slat for which I can’t currently comment as they have only gone on the bed in the last hour however my expectations are not high due to the above mentioned reasons.3. Not technically a product issue however the courier chosen by the seller, Hermes, left my parcel if you could call it that was left on my drive way in plain sight for all and sundry to see and potentially come and pinch and then I would be without said slats... not entirely sure what option I would prefer them to be stolen or a poor product I seem to have received.Some will say why didnt I return them - simple answer really have had them before had no qualms over quality order them and need them for tonight thus don’t have the option to return !One thing is for certain following the complete shambles of this re order Uncle Bob slats are no longer a viable option and potentially a one hit wonder !(lines on the slats are my own markings to adjust to size)

Buy these or a new bed!
Like many mid range priced modern beds not built to last. The one I bought just 4 yrs ago has those slim slats which surprisingly started to split at the foot of bed and for no obvious reason at top of bed under pillow area .The thought of having to fork out for a new upgraded bed in such a short period of time was somewhat galling ,so decided to search to see if slats could replaced and thanks to Amazon found several sellers from one of which I bought a few replacement slats .Can say they have done the job and can be ordered cut to length hopefully bed will last a few more years.!

First Class Service and A+ Product
I couldn’t be happier with the product, much better quality than the original slats. The service from the seller was superb and went above and beyond what I expected - the seller got in touch with me prior to despatch and asked if I would like the slats cut to the required length. Saved me the job of butchering the slats myself to the required length!! Speedy delivery meant that I couldn’t be happier with either the product or service.

Great product, shame about the courier service.
This product is great, the company were fantastic with their comms etc. The only thing that let them down was the courier service. Hermes isn't the best in my experience, I orded these in plenty of time for the bank holiday (Aug) I needed them for the spare bedroom, as we were having guests that weekend. They didn't turn up until the day after. I ended up taking the ones out of my bed for our guests.

Fit well and restored the bed.
Our teenage son managed to break some of the slats on his bed. The rest of the bed was in great condition, just these broken slats that caused a problem. These replacements have completely solved the problem. They are a bit rough at the ends, but once in situ that’s not an issue. They fit the bed well and have transformed it back to comfort.

Good replacement bed slats
I bought these to replace slats broken because my sons decided to use the bed as a trampoline. I was impressed that the seller contacted me to ensure that I was ordering the correct size for the bed (which I was). Once confirmed the order arrived quickly.The bed has now been repaired using these slats.

Perfect fit and very strong.
Uncle Bob's bed slats are fantastic. I emailed the size I wanted for my double bed. They fitted perfectly. I've had them for 14 months and they're still as good as new. Far better than the original slats that I got with bed base.

Double check what size you require as they will cut the slats exactly to requirement. Recommend!
the slats were a fraction too long. So had to bend them slightly in order to fit. Thought I needed 700mm for my double bed. Haven't cut them to size yet.They seem good quality though and have done the job.
