Like a Stadium light- wow!! Bright would be an understatement, brighter than sunlight!!
This is the brightest light I have seen in my lifetime!!! Blows away EVERYTHING at Home Depot!! Wow!!!- like a stadium light- off the chart bright.Might be overkill for a residential light. LOL. It is very high quality, and it came nicely packed in a box you will not want to trash- laminated foam and everything. I would pay twice as much for this light and be more than a happy customer.Update: The lights measure 900 LUX at 5 feet, clocked in at 129W, not 150. But huge coverage area, better than others on EBAY.True Warm white.

Lights Flicker terribly
Bought 5 of these and they get into a wicked flicker mode, shut them off and back on and they are good for awhile, They are being used in my shop and they make you sick after awhile of flickering, hoping they clear up but doubt it.....

False Advertising & poor life
The unit is rated for 30,000 to 50,000 hours of life, yet failed after less than 600 hours. The big unit was rated at 150 watts, but measured an actual 131 watts. The small unit was advertised as 50 watts, but in actuality measured at only 37 watts. They need to change their advertising to reflect true numbers. The unit came with no warranty information - just a Chinese manufactuing address..

Bright but mounting yoke is made incorrectly
These do very well to light up the commercial parking area at the convenience store. The mounting yoke on every other lamp of this style allows the lamp to swivel 360 degrees through the yoke. This is not possible on this one because the mounting points for the yoke are behind the light instead of on the side. For anyone having to mount this on a horizontal surface they will not be able to point the light down to the area without bending the yoke as I had to do. Also, the pigtail provided is maybe 1/2 meter, way shorter than any other lamp of this type.

500W unit only draws 350W at 118VAC
So far I'm pleased with this lamp - 500W LED model. It does create a large amount of very bright light. The intensity of the light is also such that I can't look directly at the LED array when illuminated unless I keep my eyes extremely squinted, not really any different than trying to look straight at the sun. Even when standing 30' away from it.Also of note, I test powered the lamp through an energy consumption meter. That showed it's only drawing 350W of power at 118VAC. I don't know if that means the lamp is not producing the 55,000 lumens it's advertised to produced, or if the LED's are more efficient than whatever their manufacturer indicates. I'm not too concerned about it, in my situation, because whatever the explanation, the lamp produces enough illumination for my application. That it uses less energy than advertised, is for me a plus. What I have to wait and see about is how long the lamp lasts. It'll be powered up for an average of 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. I'll update this review when/if it has any issues or a premature failure. Hopefully it will not. Also, another issue that I'm not concerned about but maybe worth mentioning, the mounting bracket the lamp comes with seems a little flimsy, given the size and weight of the lamp. I'm thinking the bracket style/materials are probably more adequate for smaller versions of this lamp which are also available. Though I'd like to see my bracket for this one be a little bit of a heavier gauge of metal, this one will still do, and I don't expect to have any trouble with it. A plus was that the bolts/nuts/washers that are included with it are stainless steel.

Poor Quality Light- NO QUALITY CONTROL!!
When I opened the package, the silicone gasket that separates the reflector from the LEDs was basically bouncing around under the tempered glass lens. It apparently had become dislodged or it was not assembled correctly. I took the light apart to repair it because it seemed to be fairly simple to repair. When I got into the light, the reflector is basically as thin as a beer can. Very poor quality. I had to modify the reflector to actually hold the silicone seal in place because the aluminum was so poorly formed From the original manufacturer. The light turns on, it's bright, it's just that the overall quality seems to be very, very poor. I don't feel this light is worth even half of what I paid for it.

Seems good
I'd give it 5 stars but the wires are not labeled except the ground. Took it apart and found the hot was labeled inside so I now know the correct way to wire it. Line should be labeled.

Nice light for the $$$. But not 11000 lumen.
Great flood light for the $. It's not a 11000 lumen more like 1500, but still a good light for the $You can check out my review on you tube by searching for" king william rules everything".
