Good kit to start
I was interested in jewelry making but had no idea how and where to begin. I saw the Kit in Amazon and decided to give it a try. Thought it would give me a fairly good idea whether I would like to pursue my new hobby or not without spending much. The beads were pretty, bright and some extras were also given which is good for beginners like us. All my beads were drilled, the 3 in 1 tool was good. It's nice that you can make ear rings, bracelet and necklace. Made one set and it came out beautiful. So why 4 star ?? The instruction was not good. You have to search YouTube for tutorial. My pin heads were bent and they just gave 2 pairs. For a beginner an extra pair is always nice since I spoiled my first pair of pin head while trying. The bracelet was stretched. Wish they had given one stretched and one wired, it would have been good for me to learn. No jump rings were given. And the beads were not labeled with the measurements i.e. what mm are they. I have no idea whether I want to order 4mm or 6mm beads for my next project.Overall it's a good kit to buy if you want to start and learn jewelry making.BTW: I did not know so thought I would share with others that 3 in 1 tool means it has cutter, crimper and nose plier

Great beginner kit!
I've wanted to try jewelry making but didn't want to spend a lot of money and then figure out that I didn't *really* want to make jewelry. This kit is perfect! There's a good range in bead sizes which makes for a nice variation in the jewelry but still goes well together. The colors are very pretty - not too muted, not overly bold. The book is pretty basic. It shows the layout of each piece and then you reference the back for how to finish the closures for them. Once I saw the pictures, it was easy to figure out but I tend to be creative and am able to 'just wing it' when needed. If you're looking for a very detailed explanation, this isn't it. Even still, for the price, it's a great way to start. I was able to do 2 pairs of earrings, 2 bracelets and 1 necklace in just a few hours (with kids distracting me!) and I'm very pleased with how they turned out.Bottom line: if you're a beginner and you're looking for a way to 'test the waters', this is a great way to do it. If you need a very detailed instruction guide, this probably isn't going to do it for you.

Good Starting Kit
I am new to beading so this was a good kit for me to test and see if making jewelry was a good hobby for me. The beads are nice but they cannot be handled roughly. I broke one with the jewelry tool. This can be a tedious craft especially when using the smaller beads and the flyer inside did not give a lot of detailed instructions. There are plenty of resources on the internet if you need more instruction. I made a necklace, two bracelets and some earrings and I have enough beads to make a couple of other small items. My only concern is the durability of the items. I already stretched a bracelet until it broke and I am not sure the necklace will hold up with time. I like the idea of a kit but I think I would like one with only larger beads and stronger wire and elastic.

Not bad for the money
I just started making my own jewelry. I am a novice, so I needed a tool to start working with jump rings. Well, this not only had a tool, but some beading, ear wires, head pins, etc. The price was good, so I went ahead and ordered it.It's not a bad kit for the money. The beads are plastic, but that is to be expected at this price point. The pliers are ok, but do leave your hands with a bit of dark grease on them after working with them for a little while. To just get someone started and practicing, this kit is fine. But if you are looking to do this more than occasionally, you'll want to invest in some higher quality pliers like Wubbers and get some better beads/charms.

Easily make jewelry with WOW factor
You will love this jewelry-making kit. It is easier than some other kits, and the look of the jewelry has a country-western flavor, in my opinion. Unlike some other kits, you will not need to purchase a second tool. The techniques used for these jewelry pieces do not require it. (However, if you plan to do much jewelry-making, you should get another tool for future use.) I'm pretty much a novice at jewelry-making, and I put this together in maybe three or four hours. (By the way, you can probably make more than two earring sets if your kit comes with extra earring hooks, like mine did. I made four sets of earrings. I think making earrings is probably easiest for me.) The two necklaces and two bracelets have a lot of WOW factor. I had a few beads left over after completing the kit and I plan to use them in future projects.

The beads are nice, all either silver metal or blue glass
The kit came with everything it said it would, at the time it said it would. The beads are nice, all either silver metal or blue glass. While this probably makes it easier for beginners to match their earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, I would have liked to have seen a better variety of colors. The kit also comes with an instruction booklet, which has no dictionary key whatsoever, so the instructions written for the jewelry, littered with jewelry making jargon, require a beginner to search for the meanings. There are rudimentary pictures. Overall, a good, cheap kit to see if jewelry making is a new hobby or something that just seems cool.

Nice kit but not a lesson.
Definitely not a box in a class, so if you are looking for that, keep looking. There are nice quality items in this kit that deserve 4-5 stars, including the handy 3 in 1 tool that saves space on my work bench. If you are just learning like me, the designs they have included are nice and the included beads are decent quality. The metal ones in this kit are a better quality than I was expecting. So, lots to copy but not really a class in a box.
