This is a really lovely wine glass. I like the slightly smaller size. A bit more sophisticated because of that aling with the stylish lettering. Nice script and the gold really stands out. The opening of the glass is a bit narrow but not so much it's a problem at all. Wine is meant for sipping anyway! Recipient was thrilled with this gift!

I purchased this to give as a gift. I am very pleased with the quality of the class and the personalization.It was super easy to personalize and got it 2 days later. The packaging was sturdy and the glass actually came in its own box, so it is perfect for giving as a gift. I have not used it or washed it since I am giving it as a gift. If for some reason it does not hold up to washing or use, I will update my review.i would highly suggest this as a retirement, birthday, anniversary, fathers day, mothers day.... gift.

Ordered this as a birthday gift and it was a huge hit! Arrived on time, well packaged. The glass itself is beautiful, even better than the photos. The gold etching details add to the beauty of this glass. Have already ordered more for future gifts!

I purchased this item for my mother's birthday party and during the party the "gold" around the rim started coming off. That was the first time she used it. According to the Amazon listing the way it is made that shouldn't have happened. The worse part is that the price was on par with an etched glass I purchased from another listing.

Nice Glass. I plan to use to sip liquor. I have not washed the glass but a few times but it looks like the gold trim will remain in tact. I was able to have the glass customized with my birth year. I didnt read very well because I thought this was for two glasses but it is just for one. The glass is nice. Kind of fancy even. It says dishwasher safe but I have only hand washed.

Got another date glass for a birthday gift - then thought: I’d like to have one myself. Born in 1946, what are the chances I would find one? Well I did! Looks great in gold lettering. Glass looks great! Happy Birthday to me!

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this glass is. My only disappointment is that the gold around the edge of the glass has already worn off just from use despite gentle hand washing only. It’s a wonderful keepsake nonetheless. It came quickly and securely packaged.

I am using this for a 60th birthday, and will make up a nice basket with some wine, crackers and cheese. The gold on top makes it look very fancy, and I know the recipient will love that her birth year is on there. I definitely will buy these for other birthdays, it makes a nice gift alone or part of a basket.
