Very cute Tamagotchi. The Pastel has always been one of my favorites. I've had one before and sold it, but then soon started regretting the decision. So I bought one again. It's true that the Pastel had Bluetooth issues. It works, but it usually takes several times. This has nothing to do with the seller, it's just a manufacturing problem that happened with all the Pastels. But the cute Easter theme more than makes up for it. So very happy with my purchase!

So cute! So happy!! Gotten used to playing the english Tamagotchi On for 5 months now so I know the menu like the back of me hands so navigating is very easy! Wouldnt suggest this version as your first one if you're not use to it. No scratches, perfect condition, popped the batteries I have right in and came to life, great sound and clear pixels! Will update when its grown up a bit on its connectivity.edit: not changing my stars review with this edit, only wanted to update sometimes connecting to the app takes 1-2 tries, sometimes it works instantly. It's *really* not that bad, not enough to be frustrating or deter me away from loving this tama soooo much!

The pastel tamagotchi meets came new and works great! It arrived within a week. Great purchase. I am having a good time playing with my new tamagotchi.

It is in Japanese so if you have a Tamagotchi On the menus are similar. There's also guides on the internet for translation if you need it. Read up on how to unlock locations also.I was wary about getting this as numerous reviews talk about connection issues with the app... but the price is good and I wouldn't feel bad if I hated it. Plus, I really wanted to get those pastel tamagotchis (which you can only get on this version).With all that said above I do like it. Yes... there is a connection problem connecting it to the app.. it takes a lot of tries to get it to connect. Patience is a must if you buy this and plan on going on the app. It seems the more I connect it the easier it got... But it still takes a few tries to do.I have been able to connect it to my Tamagotchi On with no problem. When you're waiting for it to connect to the other one press a button.So yea.. it's cute and you can change your tamas to pastel.. Connecting to the app is the only downside to this Tamagotchi Meets and only on the Pastel version from what I read. If you can handle that and okay with it being in Japanese then go for it.

There's always some part of me that worries I'll be sent some weird Chinese knock-off, you know? This is a real Tamagotchi Meets Pastel. I already had the purple one and wasn't really planning on getting the white, but when I came across this with Prime shipping, I couldn't pass it up!It helps to be able to read some basic Japanese, but you don't need to be able to read any at all to play and enjoy the Japanese Tamagotchis. Also, the Japanese Tamas CAN connect to the English Tamagotchi ON app and get married to any Tamagotchi you meet in the app. I haven't tested sending items to a Japanese Tama from the English app, but I know you cannot send items or wallpaper from a Japanese Tama to an English Tama.Anyway! Very happy, works great, love it :)

I have 5 Tamagotchis. This one and 1 other just REFUSE to work via Bluetooth. Everything else is fine, but the best part about Tamagotchi is the connectivity and the pastel meets has been nothing but trouble.

Fresh out of the box, Pastel meets got the screen freeze glitch.I ordered a Pastel meets from AmazonJP for myself. My close friend wanted a Pastel meets as well for the Uratama blue outline genetics so I ordered a 2nd one from AmazonUS as an Easter gift.We were going to connect them to register friendship, but less than an hour after taking hers out of its box, it started freezing when the screen was supposed to turn off.After removing the batteries and also doing a hard reset the screen wouldnt even dim anymore. It would stay lit/on with the little baby boy gotchi frozen in place.No button presses, no sound. Nothing.Last night, we found one way to "semi-fix" it was to lightly press the reset button. It would not full reset to the Digital Friends screen, but would start the little one to move again.However, this only lasted either 10 minutes (which it would refreeze while lit) or until the Tama was put down for 30secs in which the screen would attempt to turn off again.If you look it up on Google, this is supposed to be a "rare" issue.However, there is a post on Tamatalk, one on reddit and even a youtube video documenting the glitch. Somehow we managed to get one from Amazon. (There are a few English + Japanese posts Amazon posts that mention the issue too.)More often the Bluetooth connection issue is mentioned. Somedays it takes 3 times for my Pastel to register with my Magic meets and the app, but so far the screen turns on and off normally and has not frozen.Unfortunately this is my second "messed up" Virtual Pet from Amazon in less than a month. (Previously was a Digimon 20anni).Within the next 12hrs the busted Pastel meets will be going back to Amazon.Unfortunately, my friend is gutted and doesn't trust getting a replacement Pastel. She instead opted to purchase her own preowned Magic meets instead from a trade/sell group since those tend to have less glitches.Thanks Amazon... =(Someone today (Apr 21 2022) was selling one here on Amazon for just $50 USD. I can only wonder why...If you order a Pastel Meets after reading this, let me send you a bit of Good Luck to get a working one. <3

My first Tamagotchi was the English ON and I didn't realize they had different screens. I'm assuming its the same for all meets, but it was incredibly vibrant and everything just look really good on the pastel! I just can't seem to get over how nice the screen is, it's flawless. I haven't had any issues with connecting to other tamagotchis or the app, it takes me at most 3 tries to connect to the app. I've read about the issues plaguing especially the pastel and luckily i haven't had any issues so far. Shipping was incredibly fast (i hope they get enough time off because dang, im not used to less than 1 week delivery!) all the way to Sweden and the pastel box was secured very tightly which i really appreciated! The language barrier hasn't bothered me either. it's easy to navigate and you can use google translate live translation to read dialogues (theres not many) and use guides online.

It took about a week to be delivered. It was much faster than I expected. I've heard that pastel meets has connection issue so I was afraid of getting defective one, but happy that mine dosen't have that kind of problem. It connects to the meets/on app right away and has no problem connecting to other tamagotchi as well. Also it doesn't have any scratch or stain.The product was wrapped tight and safely. This was my first time buying stuff in Amazon Japan and was so satisfying.

There is so much to do, its hard to get bored of it and mixing genes is so fun! Connecting is hard on the pastel, it is possible but it takes like 30 tries for it to work, which gets frustrating. The price is cheaper than other ersions of the meets that connect well though, so I cant really complain.The gold paint isnt very vibrant, and when my fingers are, the gold has faded and become see-through and dull.It had a few minor scratches on the screen too.

This is really enjoyable toy if you disregard the connectivity issues with the app! Make sure to keep plenty of triple A batteries on hand.
