Had to tinker to make it fit.
The evaporator fan in our Frigidaire frs6lc8fs3 started rattling one day. Checked it, and noticed one of the fan blades was gone...(god knows where).. Replaced the blade, then discovered the motor was bad. It's located in the rear underneath the fridge, so not much space to work on it. Anyway, ordered this motor, and discovered that it isn't a one-on-one replacement (although it is the correct product number).. The mounting holes line up, but the rear mounting posts are shorter so it hits the bracket when you try to mount it. Additionally, the bolts hold the front and read of the motor together, whereas in the old motor, the mounting screws are separate from the screws that hold the motor together.. Anyway, a quick trip to Lowe's got me 2 half inch nylon spacers and 2 longer bolts. For anyone interested, it is an M4 thread (metric). With the spacers, I needed 45mm M4 bolts to make it work. Lastly, the new motor comes with 3 wires (green, red and blue), whereas the old motor has 2 black and one green wire. So, to fix, first cut the motor harnesses off (at the harness, so you have enough length) and the fridge harness, and use wire nuts to splice them together. Then, loosen the fan mounting bracket (you can't take it out, as there is not enough space), mount the motor, the longer bolts and the spacers on the bracket using a philips screwdriver, then re-mount the bracket and put the blade back on the fan. It's all in a very tight space, but it's doable. Take your time and don't get frustrated.. It still beats buying a replacement bracket/motor set like Frigidaire wants you to, which is about $70.. And besides, you can not take the fan mounting bracket out anyway without also loosening the compressor or the coils... All in all about 45 mins work once you have all the parts. Our fridge is working again, and I learnt something in the process....(whatever that may be)..

Perfect replacement, saved me from buying a new fridge
Fits Frigidaire/Electrolux model LFHT1817L.Bought this when a five year old Frigidaire stopped cooling. The freezer was fine; only the fridge couldn't stay cold. Turns out the fan that circulated cold air to the refrigerator was kaput. This fan motor was a perfect fit - no adjustments were needed. The only thing to take notice of is that the wiring harness on this motor plugs directly into the back of the freezer, then there's a place for the ice maker to plug into the replacement wiring harness. The original configuration of the fridge is to have a separate wiring harness that both the ice maker and fan motor plug into. So once this motor was installed I had the old wiring harness left over, in addition to the old motor.

Thank God for this little fan
the water on my fridge stopped dispensing which means the line froze. The defrost was not working and the coils would freeze over quickly even after manually defrosting it. On wrong advise I replaced the controller for the fridge which ran me over 100 bucks, after hours of installing it...it didn't work. the I noticed that the freezer defrost fan was acting strange, the fan seemed to be trying to run but couldn't. So I ordered this fan and after a brief cable modification, BAM the fan took off. Solved! Warning do unplug or turn the fridge off otherwise you can run the risk of damaging the controller or electrocution or more. Anyway replacing the fan, saved me $300-500 bucks. Being a little technically inclined helps a lot.

Perfect replacement
The fan motor was the perfect replacement to the broken fan in my fridge. The fan was not working, so the fridge compartment would get warm and the freezer compartment had inconsistent temperature. The outside fan at the back of the fridge was running almost all the time. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish to replace this fan. It is a good idea to unplug the power to the entire fridge before starting. After emptying the freezer compartment, we took two screws out of the panel at the back. We had to unplug the wire plug attaching the panel to the back of the freezer so we could slide the panel out. Then we popped the motor out and put the new one in, unscrewed the ground wire, and screwed in the new one. When sliding the panel back in, remember to plug in the wires at the back then screw the panel in place. So happy to have a working fridge again.
