Why is the Diablo Dos one of our all-time best-sellers? Maybe it's the tension-loaded, Hypervent suspension. Or the non-chafing, seamless shoulder straps. It could be that we vented every part of this pack that contacts your body, to reduce your core temperature. Really, the whole thing is a mystery. Oh, did we mention the Diablo Dos has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any hunting pack on the market? Maybe it's so popular because it's just one hell of a pack. The devil's in the details, and the Diablo Dos is full of them. Total Volume: 2,100 CI Main Pocket Volume: 1,700 CI Weight: 4 LB, 4 OZ Dimensions: 24 IN x 15 IN x 11 IN Pockets: Seven

Hunter husband loves!
Bought as a present for my husband and he is extremely happy with how it fits on him. He's a naturally skinny build but says it fits him great once all snugged up. The Rifle carry sling is a major bonus! Has a added benefit of being able to carry a (moo) cow skull perfectly where the rifle would sit. Plenty of space for his first aid kit, hunting layers he peels off during the day, and all of his field dressing items. The gap between the back and the pack itself has gotten rid of the nuisance of a sweaty back after I long day of hiking hills/mountains. Can't recommend enough to other hunters who got to hike to get to their meat.

Decent but room for improvment for sure
I bought this for Deer and Elk hunting. Used it one time for an overnight trip and it was maxed out to an uncomfortable level. It needed a bit more room so i used it this season for day hunting and for that it works decent but a few things to note. My complaints are a few things:#1. Water bladder pocket size issue. I added the Geiggerig inflatable 3 liter water bladder. It barley fits in the pocket provided but does. When you pump the bladder up for positive pressure drinking *(no sucking hard to drink, just bite valve and swallow. Very nice feature)* OR the bladder (any 3L bladder would do this) is full and the rest of the pack is stuffed full of your rain gear, food, animal processing gear, etc it pushes the bladder into your back due to containment size of the pocket, touching the length top to bottom on your back. This eliminates the main reason why I bought this pack. It causes me to sweat at the contact area and does not allow that section of your back to breath. The Air gap provided by the spring steel internal framing disappears. The two (top to bottom) straps are spaced perfectly apart to allow the bladder to wedge between them and touch your back. The spacers actually invert and bow the opposite way pushing the pack onto your back. I used stiff cardboard behind the bladder with some success to eliminate the gap pushing the bladder into the pack and keeping it off my back somewhat. However the cardboard soaks up the sweat and becomes soft. They need to add a strap between these two and increase the pocket area to allow the bladder to go to the inside of the pack.#2. The front shoulder straps come off the padded section when you have the horizontal chest strap tighttened up. The sliders also do not hold position and creep up over time when walking and moving around. Some additional mods to the pack could be done to make it way better but thats not for this review. The review is for what is currently there to evaluate and use. I will be contacting the company to discuss these issues for a possible version 3 if they choose to listen to an avid hunter. They say they test their products but i can not see how these issues do not come up upon beta testing before release.OVERALL its a good day pack butoverall the pack is good

Decent Pack
Handles heavy weight for its size very well. I like that there are two main storage spaces and each has other compartments inside. The zipper handles are amazing; it's a detail I wouldn't have considered until I used them. Easy to open and close with gloves. The pack seems well made and durable, better than any other hunting pack I've ever owned. I do question how well the mesh back will last though. I took a star off for that and the fact that my torso is a tad long for the pack and there is no way to adjust that. I am 6'5" so this may not be a problem for most.

Great pack, I have 2 of them
My favorite pack, versatile, comfortable, strong and durable. I’ve had one in realtree camo I’ve used for years and my son fell in love with it. I gave it to him and after considering other models I got another for myself in Badlands camo. Great packs, they expand and have plenty room for all our gear; the zippers, material, and stitching are all very good quality. Very durable and I am hard on equipment. I’ve used my first one for 8 seasons and it’s still good as new. Buy one, you’ll like it.

Great pack, Amazing warranty
Amazing backpack. Have used for several rifle and muzzleloader trips. Put many miles on it. Very comfortable and great capacity for a full day in the field with room for extra layers and rain gear. I hunt in MI and leave camp before dark so you never really know what weather you will run into. I tend to over pack and have plenty of room for hunting gear, clothes, and food.

Buy this pack
I've had a lot of bags and packs over the year (40 years?). This one is my new all time favorite. Went elk hunting with it in the pissing rain. Carries incredibly well. Kept my critical stuff dry. Perfect size for a day in the field (safety gear, spare socks, rain gear, etc.). Rifle carries well with it. Just fabulous

Great in between pack
This is a great pack for any amount of money. I used it this year for about 30 lbs of gear and a 5 mile round trip hike eaxh day for a week in the mountains of WV. The pockets are big for anything you need, the zippers great and the frame offers a lot of support. This is a great in-between pack when you need more than a flimsy day pack but less than a huge full frame pack.
