I love this piece- I think it looks even nicer in person than in the pictures. I bought mine as a decorative piece to hang on the wall of my study. It has a shiny silver/chrome finish, except for the background behind the Gayatri Mantra, which is kind of a light bronze color. The seller was very conscientious- it was wrapped in shrink wrap, placed inside two bubble envelopes with a "Fragile" sticker on the outer one, mailed promptly, and arrived in perfect shape. For me, this was one of those happy surprises where you order something thinking that you'll like it okay, and when it arrives, it's even better than expected.
