2' x 5' Premium Synthetic Turf Size 46 oz Rubber Backed With Drainage Holes

The turf is thick and realistic looking. However, the rubber backing is not nearly as thick as the picture shows. It is thin with the stitching from the turf poking through. (I suppose these are the drainage holes.) I had to add a non-slip rug pad to help hold the mat in place.

Got this strip of turf to use as a mat outside the tent door for camping, especially beach camping. It is THE BEST at keeping sand out of the tent! We have kind of a two-part system. We lay down the turf, and on top of that, put a GrassWorx Doormat High Traffic Mat (the scruffy, fake plastic grass type).  GrassWorx Doormat High Traffic, 18 by 30-Inch, Desert Taupe  The turf is soft underfoot, so the kids like to wipe their bare feet on it. The GrassWorx mat is rougher, and between the two they get a lot of sand off feet or shoes. Because the turf looks so nice, we get lots of compliments from other campers. It is heavy enough to stay in place on the ground. It rolls up pretty tight, so is easy to pack in the car. One minor issue with the turf is at peak sun, it heats up and can be a little hot on bare feet, so then we use the Grassworx mat alone. Wish the turf had been my idea, but I saw another Girl Scout mom use a turf mat on one of our trips. Genius!

this has worked in potty training my dog but I would not buy again because it is too expensive for the amount you get.

This is an awesome product, looks realistic and heavy duty even if you are going to use it outside. Me, hahaha, I had a better place for it. In my BATH TUB!I have many foot problems due to health condition and age. Bone spurs and corns/caluses growing on my soles and making my barefoot shower time miserable and very uncomfortable. I was looking for a long time....... for something really soft that will not get moldy in my tub. No tub mat was thick and soft for my feet and my other option was just taking shower in my shoes. A bit impractical..... So, I had to think out of the box.....Turf was bit pricey for my experiment, but I have made a good purchase. I cut out piece that will fit my existing matt with suction cups and just put that on top. Turf has rubber backing but it was still a bit slippery so double layer solved that issue.It is AWESOME, very comfortable for my feet, it drains well and it gets dry quite fast. I could warmly recommend for people with sensitive feet, family with little children and tiled shower.......I'm sure some creative people can find other uses........did I mentioned I will be getting another piece for my kitchen?

Too plastic looking.

Brilliant green color (not unrealistic), surprisingly thick and dense, multi-length and multi-width blades. At first glance, doesn't look synthetic at all - just looks like exceptionally well-kept grass. Maybe so much so that it looks out of place in drought-ridden CA - but doesn't need a drop of water to be lush. It even feels good to sit/lie in. Unexpectedly good value!One slight beef: the pic that shows the thickness of the rubber backing was taken at an extremely favorable angle. The rubber is not nearly as thick as it looks, although it is sturdy enough to support the blades and is heavy enough to sit flat with few anchors. Not enough of a complaint to dock a star - just don't have the expectation that this has a big, thick, heavy, grippy backing. It's easy to push a lawn pin/anchor through the rubber with just bare hands.

Does not look at all like grass and the plastic strands both in the backing and in the grass field keep coming loose.I will not purchase this again.Not a company or product to go with.

My dog used it right away. I love that the draining holes are actually visible and a pretty good size. I did add a few extra draining holes just in case. It drains well and surrounding area doesn't smell like urine. This size is perfect because I ended up cutting it and got 3 replacement grass for the small size potty patch AND for around the same price as 1 potty patch replacement grass. It is also very easy to clean :-)
