Awesome little camera. Awesome customer service. Did the install myself. Had an issue with the camera being damaged in shipping and sent them an email. Had a new one in a couple of days. Instructions were clear and legible. Pretty straightforward installation. Ordered another for the front. Gonna order two more as well as I have the option for 4 cameras. Really like that you have a lot of adjustments with this one. The other cameras I bought could only be adjusted a couple of ways and you had the clip a wire for the adjustment. This camera comes with a wired remote that make changing the options a breeze. It’s easily disconnected or you can just mount it in an inconspicuous place. Also like that it has lots of cable so you can mount it anywhere. The quick disconnect cable works perfect for my application. Best bang for your buck.

The camera gives a clear view when backing up. The adjustment controls are good, but it would have been nice to have a horizontal adjustment on the lines (horizontal line from driver side to passenger side). With that note, if you cannot mount the camera directly in the middle of the car (mine had to be mounted 6 inches off center) then you cannot use the guidelines to help with aligning the car within the parking spot lines. Installation was fairly easy, but the instructions will not help you with the physical installation. The manual does give a nice wiring diagram and adjustment instructions though (I am an engineer so maybe not easy for everyone). The camera looks robust like an OE style camera, but time will tell how well made it is. The video cable was definitely long enough for a Subaru Legacy, but it might be tight for a longer vehicle. You will need to have skills to be able to install a monitor unit (not included) or connect into an existing monitor (i.e. radio display) plus routing the cable from the front of the car cabin to the back of the vehicle. I would definitely purchase again unless it fails prematurely.

I installed this on my Super Duty. Located it on the tailgate handle. The angle looking down was perfect to see the trailer hitch ball. Quality for the price is awesome. The available adjustments to the screen quality is perfect. I have a cheaper camera in the front of the truck and it doesn’t look half as good as this. Going to purchase another one for the front now. Stop looking for the right camera and purchase this one. I have a 4 door Long Bed dually and had plenty of length for the cable. Perfect camera!!

First time I hand washed my truck, the camera got moisture in it. It cleared up after a couple of sunny days but still made me question the quality. I then started noticing the image would be flipped upside down occasionally when I put it in reverse. I could go to park and back to reverse and it would be oriented the correct way again. Now it is stuck in the upside down view and the remote that orients the camera will not correct the issue as it is supposed to. Definitely not worth the money as I have had better luck from cheaper cameras. ***Update*** After seeing my initial 1 star review, the seller shipped me a replacement camera. I had already replaced this one with another brand camera but I will keep the replacement to try on another vehicle. I don't know if the replacement is any better, but I will say they stand behind the product. so i upped it to 3 stars.

I bought a similar and cheaper version first which did not work. I wound up purchasing this Pormido unit and I am very happy with it. It has a remote to access the settings which is great. No cutting of wires for guidelines or mirroring. This way you can always go back. The wires were also long enough for a much easier install as opposed to other cheaper units. This was well worth the money and I am going to purchase another one for my other vehicle.

It was cheap enough but the switch that you’re supposed to use to select modes just fell off during installation. It still works kind of, but snaking the wires was such a pain I’ll just live with it.

I just got the camera installed on my 2012 Silverado (see pictures). I put the remote on a black portion of the dash by the headlight control (see pictures also). It looks great. The picture is very good. I'm using a replacement factory style mirror with built in monitor. I didn't connect the camera to the reverse lights but instead have power for it coming from a switch on the dash. I want to be able to see how the trailer connection is doing as i drive. I had a cheaper camera that i installed last year but it died after about 8 months. This was a lot easier to set up and has a wider field of view. If i have any problems with it going forward I will update this post.
