Well it holds a gauge like it's supposed to buttttt.. it's a little larger in diameter than other holders, so youd have to wrap a lot more electrical tape around the gauge to make it fit and the double sided tape is pretty bad. Scrubbed any possible chemicals off the dash, used alcohol, heated up the tape, stuck good for a little bit but then I bumped it and it just fell off. No worries though, I have plenty of 3m double sided tape but for those of you who dont, probably have a roll on standby if you get this. Overall decent for the money.

For $6, it was a way better option for mounting my gauges under my dash. I may upgrade later though when I feel like spending more money. Its not the best, but it gets the job done. The pod can be tilted to any angle, and it rotates around the base. It can also be popped out of the base to work on the gauges, but sometimes it pops out on its own when I hit a bump. For the most part it stays put and is pretty sturdy. I had to wrap my gauges in tape so they wouldn't slide out because the opening was a little too big. I also screwed the base to my dash because I didn't want to deal with the double sided tape. You may have to mess with it a little bit to make it work how you want to. If you're on a budget, this will work great, but if you have the money, you may want to get something a little nicer.

Fits but had to use the Dremel to open the hole a little bit for the Chinese gauge I was putting into it. Decent plastic, if you're handy you can make this work.

Very tough plastic, but easy to drill through. I needed to put an extra hole in it for the boost line, which was really easy to do. It holds the gauge in using only the rubber O ring, even under a hard launch where everything else goes flying. The double sided tape provided holds it down well, and has been for months. I plan to upgrade to pillar mounts soon, but this is perfect in the meantime

I used this to mount a vacuum gauge on my dash by the A pillar. I drilled a 2nd hole in the housing for the hacuum hose. After driving around for several hours, the adhesive started letting go which caused the pod to come loose, however, I pressed it back down and it seems to be holding now. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this gauge pod.

little big for my application but used on the weekend car under the dash mounting with two screws.Get what you pay for. I did end up buying a second one and used it for mold/plug purpose to have gauge face but make into fiberglass composite type. So my nice car will have one of one custom deal then. The gauge pod issue was the depth mainly not going to a slant it's all one size unit. I needed something to replace the clock area in my car which is on the dash top center and the pod was like 1/1/2" to big by length and depth. So custom-made is the deal now.Perfect for dash mounting underneath or on top of the dash.
