I'm not even sure where to begin but, this book is so beautiful in so many ways. ”Inward” is the perfect title as it pulls the reader in. I felt the love and wisdom within every word. So, many pages... I sighed with a sense of resonating! This book could easily be read in one sitting.. Like, an hour or less but, yet...it’s timeless and will definitely be one I read many times over as it creates such deep feelings and thoughts!! I wanted to express my gratitude to the author for bringing forth this gift of love and encourage anyone thinking of whether they should buy it or not to do so... as your soul brought you here for a reason!!

Amazingly insightful. He seems to know just what to write. This book gives me great comfort and peace in a chaotic world. He is articulate and healing in his writings. This is a great book to give to those who are struggling and need some peace. It is a great gift, not just for friends, but for yourself. Amazing writer and soulful insight!

I love this book. It's organized in an interesting way. There is plenty of white space on each page, which I love for taking notes and circling. This has become a living diary for me and I refer to it often when I am struggling with something.Highly recommended!!

Mehhhh. I follow YP on IG and live for his reflective posts that he often shares in the story feature. I expected more of that from this book. It was underwhelming for me since I was expecting something more in-depth and enlightening but it could be just what someone else needs.

The book changed my life. I was holding on to a lot of negative feelings and memory's and this book thought me how to let go. I have read this book over 50 times already. Te book It speaks to your soul

So I found this book when I went to get a facial from a healer in my area. Her whole studio was such an energy that I could have lived there and never left. This is one of the books she had on her table to read - and I ordered it immediately after reading 2-3 passages. I love the overnight shipping with books now, and the next day I did a little dance when it showed up to my door. I took it to my moms house to show her, and my 7 year old sister LOVED IT because most of the passages are simple to read. She begged me to get her one - so I gave her my copy and ordered another. 💜

As an aspiring poet, I bought this book hoping to learn and get inspiration from one of Amazon's top-rated poetry books. Unfortunately, what I found was, what read to me as, regurgitated cliches designed to sell well to the masses. It seems to me that a lot of this kind of poetry has cropped up recently since the styles of rupi kaur, Amanda Lovelace, and Lang Leav's poetry has gained popularity within the general population. This book honestly just didn't seem genuine. It was.... boring.I really hate that I disliked this book so much. For one, I feel like I wasted my money. For another, if the author truly poured their soul into this poetry, I just didn't feel it. The words didn't come to life for me, and maybe that was in the style of the writing, or maybe it was just because the poems didn't bring anything new to the table.I'm giving this book 2 stars because the poetry isn't bad. It's generally okay, even likeable. There were some poems I'd like to keep in my pocket. But it seems like the kind of poetry you'd post on Twitter, Tumblr, or even on an Instagram caption. It doesn't read as art.The book even hypes itself up. This isn't a bad thing normally, but combined with the pen name yung pueblo (lit. "young people"), it just seems artificial. The whole thing feels manufactured.Maybe the style just isn't for me, or maybe it's everything I said it was. What I recommend is downloading a sample first and deciding if you really want 240 pages of this.

So in reference to the book itself, I’d give it a thousand stars because this author and his writing is absolutely incredible and I cannot get enough of it. I’m giving the low star rating just because I’m disappointed with the way my book arrived right out of the box :( as you can see, the cover is bent and beat up looking with dark marks on it. This is of course something that doesn’t affect the functionality of the book, however, I’m one of those people that takes pride in keeping my books in very good condition, especially an amazing book such as this. If this sounds like I’m crazy or super picky I’m sorry but it’s something that definitely bothers me. I am going to try to return it I guess or maybe pick up in store because I want to support Yung Pueblo but I just wanted to say I was surprised and disappointed to see the book come like this (5 stars for fast shipping though!)

I’m enjoying it so far.It’s like a healing tool for me. Helpful. Wisdom is useful. I feel connected. Ordered this whilst waiting for my next book to arrive. Easy reading with some short texts but it has depth. Thank you for enlightening my journey further. I was meant to stumble across this author on Instagram to buy his book #synchronicity

I have loved following Yung Pueblo on Instagram and I was excited to finally get my hands on his book; pure magic.
