Bought my kid a new bike and didn;t want to put just any £5 lock on it. i've watched the videos and they dont last 30 seconds. Now i know that no portable lock under a 1KG is gonna stop a determined thief for long, but this one does look like it would slow them down enough, and as long as you fit the strap/brace you dont have to lug it around in your bag. Also because it fits nicely in its scabbard/strap/brace/thing me bob, it does;nt rub against your paintwork and cause scratches that lead to rust.any way, my sons got over the embarrassment of being the only kid with a proper lock and im happy that if a thief comes to a group of bikes, he'll probably go for an easier lock than this one :)

I really like this lock and bought one for my other bike, too. It's easy to fit to the frame with a rattle-free, synthetic jubilee clip style holder. It's less versatile than a chain to use but more versatile than a D lock and it's strong. You'd need an angle grinder to get through this in a short period of time. Very good value, too.

This was a little bigger than I thought, but very strong and good quality, simple to fit to bike and is very easy to use and change code.Great for when you need to leave bike unattended.Would recommend 👍

I think this will prove to be a good buy - seems strong enough. It's a touch heavy, and a bit short, but it will definitely slow down even a guy with a portable angle grinder. It was easy enough to install which was just as well as there is not a single word of English on the package.

A bit heavy, but it certainly secures! Using this lock along with my regular cable lock, I have peace of mind, knowing I will not have it stolen.

Lock seems sturdy enough and locking mechanism is robust. Arrived with the fixing bracket missing a piece hence 3 stars but used my own kit to fit to bike.

I thought this would be a good lock but the component that keeps the lock secure to the bike snapped after only a couple weeks of occasional use.
