Eye Spy Linx Communicator

Work really well, shipped and arrived just as advertised.

I bought the EyeSpy Linx Communicator from Focal Price, not Amazon.The communicators required a three-hour charge each and worked as advertised, apart from the 500' range. The video is amazingly clear and lag free, considering the price point. The smoothness of the video can turn into a bit of a slideshow with a weak signal but is generally pretty good.It seems a number of people have a problem with the audio but I suspect that is because they haven't read the manual. The earphones need to be plugged in and one handset has to initiate the conversation by pressing the ... wait for it... "CALL" button. The other party ALSO has to press CALL and both parties can then enjoy two-way, voice communication. Failure to do so will result in you feeling disgruntled, betrayed, red in the face and will culminate in you stomping over to the comments section and venting your spleen all over the poor EyeSpy.The infra red vision works well as does the texting. Basically, this is incredible value for $45 and the kids will love it. If you're looking for the performance of a Sat Phone with 4k video, it's best to look elsewhere. If you just want your kids to have fun, playing as a tiny Spy, this little gem is perfect for the job.

For the record I purchased the Linx Communicators as well as the Spydercam at Target. I returned them both for my money back because fresh out of the box the Linx Communicators did not work at all. The Spydercam was unopened because I didn't want to take a chance with that toy not working either. Also, I see these toys went down drastically in price. I think I paid $80.00 for the Linx Communicators, and $70.00 for the Spydercam at Target just before Christmas. I assume the price drop is probably due to the toy doesn't work.

Mine was not bought from Amazon but from Target. This was the ONE THING on my twins wish list for Christmas. Straight out of the box the audio doesnt work at all. So, I went to Target and exchanged it for another one and guess what?? The Audio doesnt work on it either. I contacted the manufacturer and they suggested I try a different ear piece but when I told them THAT didnt work either, they didnt respond. Very disappointing!!
