Bear in mind that L-ascorbic acid does discolour the skin & nails
I've been using this serum for a couple of weeks and a little goes a long way. So far so good and it does what it says.It's worth mentioning that vitamin C preparations containing L-ascorbic acid will discolour the skin and nails. The reason it can stain is because vitamin C degrades into erythrulose—the EXACT ingredient you'll find in many self-tanners! Next day, you'll also notice the same smell as if you were using a self-tanner.I'm using a nail buffer to help remove the stains from my nails and for the face, NeedCrystals Microdermabrasion Crystals which I brought here on Amazon.When purchasing a vitamin C serum, look for dark bottles as this one is in. Vitamin C breaks down when exposed to light or air, so dark glass bottles help maintain its efficacy and stability.

Inexpensive and noticeable results
Effective, inexpensive and fragrance free. Unlike some other vitamin C formulations that pill on the skin as soon as you use another product, this has w light, watery and non sticky formulation. I saw brightening of my skin overall and mild lightening of dark spots. Bottle lasted me 40 days with twice daily use. You really only need 2-3 drops.

Good stuff
To compare the ingredients and the cost this is very good vitC serum. Try it and you will love it. My skin is looking brighter and smoother. You can wear either in the morning and in the evening but please make sure that you don't forget to wear sunscreen.

Questionable quality
Bought this serum a few times in the past year. The last one had a very clear colour in comparison to the previous ones, which were dark orange.

Best Facial Vitamin C
I have found this ascorbic acid vit C is the best for my morning routine and follow on with facial sun cream. It help with my pigmentation, my skin looks more radiant and is much smoother.

Not for me!
This product wasn’t what I expected. It felt tacky on my face once dry & developed a smell I couldn’t put my finger on - until with only 3 days use my hands started to look like I had badly applied a fake tan. Thank god my face had not turned the same dirty orange colour. I have stopped using it.
