Very happy with the log set and instructions were fairly easy to follow. My only disappointment was the fitting pipe from that connects the burner to my gas line. It is a bendable straw size solid pipe with a fitting on each end. The instructions say if it is to long, you must use a pipe cutter to shorten it, which I and most people, do not have. Once you bend it, you can not reshape it without damaging it. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying a gas log installation kit which comes with a flexible line and adaptors and was very easy to connect. This cost me another $20.00, but I would have gladly paid a little more for the kit if it came with this type of hose and fittings. It would have save me several hours making two trips to Home Depot..

I had purchased the additional gas line kit but it was not needed. The only issue I had was that the gas line that is included is too long and a non-flex aluminum tube. You cannot cut since it is flared on end. I just had to carefully bend to my needs. The tube is flexible and I bent excess to rear of fireplace. Once the pan is installed and you put the logs in you will not see the line. Overall pretty easy to install Just my first one. Works great/ Looks Great! and you can buy additional logs on amazon if needed. My fireplace is about 20" in rear and 35 in front. I dd not need to buy any additional logs. Quite a savings.

I've rearranged the logs, the "ashes" the embers all several times and have never achieved the look as pictured. A plumber friend checked the gas pressure at my fireplace and said it was good. Still remains looking like a cheap artificial fire. The heat output is dissapointing too.

Received the log set yesterday, and everything was excellent, except the burner pipe was not threaded. I ended up having to go to our local hardware store to buy a $10 pipe threading tool. All in all, it was rather easy to assemble once the pipe was threaded the way it was supposed to be. I'd definitely recommend buying these logs.

Very nice set of gas logs for the price. Everything needed to install the log set was included with extra sand and embers. Everything arrived intact. In fact a note was included that if any logs were damaged all I should do is call the number provided and they would ship another log out..no need to return the damaged log.

Very natural looking fire, looks like embers are glowing beneath.

When this arrived the box looked like it had been dragged behind the truck. Surprisingly, the logs were not broken but all the installation fittings were missing. Had to call the manufacturer and have the fittings shipped which took another week. Seems to work well after all the hassle.
