Bought 10 of these (50 meters total) to add to my Christmas pixel display using 12V controllers (Falcon and Baldrick). Works flawlessly after wiring up XConnect connectors. These are going to be amazing for lining driveway edges, sidewalks, roofline, etc. Connecting 2 5M strips together on a single port is a thing of beauty. 10 meters of uninterrupted light that looks like a laser beam. Zero hot spots. Look like neon. I've got some great props and a lot of lights in my display, but I have a feeling these long runs of laser beams are going to be a highlight. There is a tradeoff, however. Because there are 6 lights per node you can't be super precise (think window corners, etc.) but for long runs of awesome lights, these are spectacular. Also, the color order on these is not RGB like standard bullet or seed pixels (the ones I received are BRG), so if you use Xlights you'll have to manually change the color order every time you move these around your show (to a different port, controller, etc.). These are cuttable, but there's no way to be precise as you can't see individual lights and there is light bleed from one node to another, so no clearly defined line from one node to the next. If you manually adjust the node count by 1 in XLights you'll get an idea of where you can safely cut (use tape to mark the before/after). These are well worth it in my book! I'm a big fan.

I ordered these so that I could fix the LED lights that were damaged on my 360 Photo Booth. These were easy to install, and they are bright.

The media could not be loaded. used this product to create a custom wedding sign. the cut marks are awesome and enabled me to cut the one strip into the appropriate pieces to build this sign. the color depth is great and the density of LEDs is also higher than typical LED strips. Definitely recommend this product if you're planning to create a neon sign with data flow!

Best and priced right for the look

The media could not be loaded. WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS RAPID FLASHING.I connected a 5V power supply to the SP104E controller, and the controller to WS2812B LED strip. At first, it did a rainbow chase, but then the LEDs froze after about a minute, and the remote did not do anything. Unplugged and plugged back in, and the LEDs would not turn on at all, remote still did nothing. I checked things with a multimeter, and confirmed 5V were reaching the controller and LEDs. While testing with the multimeter, I found that touching just one lead to the green Data line caused the LEDs to randomly flash rapidly at what appeared to be full brightness. Then found that touching any wire to the Data in line caused this, yet the remote still did not work. So my power supply and LEDs work, but this SP104E controller and/or remote are defective.

The first time I received the lights It looked like it had be dragged through the mud and stomped on when I revived the package. I get it stuff happens and Amazon is very good on their returns.The second time I received them I thought they looked very nice, however they wouldn’t work and started heating up dramatically.I figured there must have been an issue but if it came out of the factory it should be working.I was wrong, I cut back the heat shrink connection to expose a not so good soldering job, it was shorting out the data and ground pins causing it to heat up.I re soldered and works okay. It works okay for my project but I’d hoped it would be brighter.
