Large Wooden Ant Hybrid Nest with red film filter + Lid This Ant Nest has been inspired and designed by a real ant nest! There are specially designed areas for all eggs stages, from just laid egg to larvae, pupae to adult ant later. Our mission is simple: After many years of tests and observation of ant's life and habitat to provide the best environment design for a competitive price. We aim to please your tiny friends and they won't be happy in pure acrylic nest. Ants and/or Queen Ants could be included so check our available stock on "Shop" page. Large Wooden Ant Hybrid Nest is formed by an acrylic cover and a wooden box made of plywood + Lid. The insert is made of hard foam, covered with up to 7 mm Plaster of Paris and then stained to looks like a natural ant's world. The Hybrid Nest could be connected to any other of our products via a flexible tube (also included). Please make sure you are keeping your ants to the correct humidity or they will chew through Plaster of Paris insert and go to "humidity nest area" to get more water. If this happen and your tiny friend nibbled that area, please don't panic, we've added stainless steel mesh under humidity hole to prevent ants escaping :) Please note that due to the natural materials used, imperfections and knots in the nest's surface may be present. Please see pictures carefully. Please NOTE THAT all the nests are made to order also are hand made so different staining could be spotted and the nest you'll get will be similar but not identical with one shown on the pictures.
