Think I’m going to like this reel
The media could not be loaded. Bought this reel to be in between a conventional boat reel and a spinner for light action saltwater. Came in an unmarked box with no enclosed literature. No warrantee or anything. Am I missing something. Think it’s going to work for Summer flounder jigging. Looks durable and smooth.. Will try it out on Seabass next week. Nice new toy.Update. Caught my limit on Seabass and won the pool. This reel is ok. Had to play with the brake screw to make casting easier. Filled with 20 pound mono, I pulled fish all day. Looks like it’s going to hold up for a while. Flounder trip next week.

Good reel, smooth casting
Great reel for the price. Casts smooth and a step.g drag. Landed several channel cats and a flathead this weekend with no problem. I am running 50lb braid on it and will hold 250yds with no issue.

Initial reaction is positive, time and some big catfish will tell the real story.
The product arrived faster than advertised. It looks like a well made reel and for the price it was worth trying it out. I need to put it to the test over the coming months to get a full feel for the quality. Overall pleased thus far.

Used once and it no longer reels. Super surprised. Purchased this in July for a July catfishing trip, worked great. Went to use it this past weekend to catfish and it’s like the bearing inside stopped working or something. It no longer reels.

Cost was much less than the Shakespeare one and just as good. This is not always the case.

Very surprised with the quality of this reel. Cast kinda rough but almost as good as Abu Garcia. Drag is smooth and strong just like Garcia. Caught some nice reds and drum with no problem
