Easy upgrade at a great price. It took me a bit to figure out what shower valve I had. I had already replaced the spout with diverter, overflow and tub drain. I got a Delta faucet trim kit and the plate fit fine using the two screw holes. However I could not find a handle that would work. I tried all sorts of universal and Delta handles. (Obviously thought wrong that it was a Delta unit.). Once I saw a picture of the back side of the Pfister control handle and the two opposing "ears" or "tabs", I knew this was the correct one. (Pfister Avante, Pull "ON", Push "OFF" and rotate for temperature control).Install was super easy. I would suggest a small strap wrench for the small collar that holds the larger trim plate secure to the shower wall. Using the strap wrench will help prevent scratching / damaging the finish on the collar. Don't forget teflon tape for the shower head pipe installation. You will likely need a pair of channel lock pliers to tighten the shower head pipe as my strap wrench simply slipped.Great upgrade at a great price. All the chrome shines bright in the shower now!

Love this! Had been wanting to update my shower kit for a while, but once I found the expense of a plumber put that idea aside. One day I stumbled across this and was shocked, it was just what I wanted. Works great, no issues, and looks awesome. Brand new shower!

The valve does not stay consistent from hot/cold to the middle position for warm in the shower. It has a lot more pressure on the warm/middle setting. It looks nice and does work. We bought one for the shower and one for the tub. The tub one does not have good pressure at all (this is after all new Pex lines were installed just a few feet away from each other). The old one worked fine, this new one takes forever to fill the tub a bit just to wash the dogs. Again, the shower one works fine. These did fit perfectly (as another brand did not even with a retro fitting part).

I replaced the ugly oil rubbed bronze trim in both bathrooms. Do make sure you are buying the right trim kit for the wall valve. I checked with Pfister before purchasing. They were able to tell me which trim kits worked with my current valve. This trim kit was super easy to install.

It allows me to upgrade the look of our 30-year old knob-type of shower faucet to the more modern look one-handle faucet without breaking up the wall for a valve replacement, I'll do it any time. Thank you, Pfister, for taking care of the older houses.One note, because this is just a trim upgrade, you should expect to operate the faucet valve exactly the same way as before.

I've bought Pfister products before, and I've always been pleased with their customer service. When something wears out, they help you figure out which part you need, and then they send it to you. Good company.

What a wonderful product! Feels like a rain shower but even better with hand held shower head!!! You will love it—powerful!

COLOR IS NOT BRUSHED NICKEL. It is more like brushed chrome. It does not match my other brushed nickel accessories. It is very cheap.

This kit contains the handle and face-plate as well as the shower head extension. If you use the handle and face-plate, the adapter kit will also be required; however, my existing face-plate was “recessed”, therefore the adapter kit was not required. I did not use the new plate. The kit includes the extension and the Allen-key as well.

My only complain is that space between handle neck and mount ring from wall is too big (2+ mm), since the cartridge is from plastic, it’ little loose when operate, everything else is great
