Oh boy...In case you hadn't already guessed by the cover, this is one crazy anime, it's ecchi in so far as the innuendo, references and jokes, this is where it gets it's humour and well, it's definitely committed to that, along with it's self censorship.The characters are well designed and over the top, with one exception, the main character, our protagonist, he is as bland and as generic as they come, it seems to be some unwritten rule in anime that these characters have to have nothing interesting to them and be a blank slate so the audience can project onto them, it makes you wonder if it's a requirement to get the series greenlit ("Sir I've got a new teen comedy series" "is the protagonist dull with no defining features?" "well no, I thought he'd work better with a personality" "rewrite it!")The theme of this series is censorship and imagines a world where all lewd images and words have been outlawed and have been for 10 years, our protagonist enrols at the most 'moral' school to see his beloved Anna again, a school that has no concept of sex or all such related matters, enter the 'sex terrorist' Blue Snow who seeks to educate them and undo the damage of the stupid censorship laws.As an aside, it gets around the plot hole that no one would accept such laws by stating in its opening that the change was brought in by stealth and the intentions were concealed from the public until it was too late, after which point anyone who tried to rise up in opposition to this was then treated as a terrorist and imprisoned.So the comedy is set within that general setup, our Blue Snow character loves relieving stress by making dirty jokes whenever she can, as well as trying to figure out a way to get the pupils at the school to become curious about sex and connect the dots as to how things actually work.Our protagonist doesn't want to be involved in any of it because the reluctant protagonist trope is also at playAnna wants to stop Blue Snow and is a must watch character.And I'll stop there because it goes south quickly with other characters and character developments.It would be unfair of me to review this without talking about it's aspects of social commentary because although it's primarily an ecchi comedy that side of things is still very much present.This series serves to point out the absurdity of Japan's censorship laws, and what happens when things get taken too far by the crowd that likes to say "won't somebody please think of the children?" the argument this series makes is that instead of protecting children they are instead hurting children as sex and all things lewd are natural and by censorship and shying away from these things you only make people ignorant and uninformed. (just look at the US and how well it's abstinence first policy works, hint, it doesn't, it instead increases teen pregnancy rates)The release is also at an amusing time as it isn't long after the BBC had reporters go to Japan and equate that anime and manga were paedophilia and evil and Japan has a problem and should stop making such things because "won't somebody please think of the children" (no seriously, check it out)So now for the technical side of things, the dub, personally I didn't like it, it's kind of mediocre, it's certain female voices that just ruin it for me, other than that it would have been generally okay. So it's probably best enjoyed in sub if you can manage subs.The OST is pretty good, the OP is kind of infectious the music throughout fits the tone and adds to the feel of things.The animation is standard, as said the character designs are good except the main character who again is generic.If you don't like Ecchi comedy, this isn't for you. Otherwise check this out, it's one hell of a crazy ride.

This is an entertaining anime, but also it shows how censorship can be bad. Certain things can be shocking to those that haven't been eased into it, restricting something makes it more attractive and leads to rebellion. They also have fun here and there with some self censorship over silly things like hand gestures, then a few episodes later there will be nudity.Overall I like the concept and I find value in it due to it reflecting the times, but to an extreme. The characters were good, particularly Blue Snow. Dub is good.

First off, if you like fan service, harem, Comdey, this dvd is for you,😋 I love this anime, the characters are like just wow,👍😀 especially the character Blue Snow. And the story is easy to follow, I'm done lol p.s blue snow is defo one of wafuis.😘😘

This is funny. I really enjoyed it. There is not a lot to say about the plot without giving too much away but it is well made. The drawing is very good so is the music and the dubbing. I even liked the little dance at the end while the titles are rolling up. There is some fan service but not as much as you would think given the subject matter.

Funny as hell great laugh. If your tired of the same anime get this. Warning high adult content but very funny. Dvd comes in a great box disks look great. The story isn't amazing doesn't go in any interesting directors. But for a series which is just pure satire you will laugh a lot.

One of my favourite anime of recent years. Completely ridiculous but hilarious. Not for everyone, but I wish more people had watched it. Also wish a completely censored version existed but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have got a release in the UK if it was. Or maybe... Still fantastic as it is.

Too damn funny.. Given I've only seen the odd previews prior to buying this it was more than enough to get me to purchase it. Worth watching for anyone interested in somewhat lewd anime now and then.

Hilarious comedy based on a different Japan with an overly strict morality code and the efforts of some who seek to undermine it.
