High grade product.
I needed this to replace the screen for a customer and this screen is fine.Nowadays, you can buy screens from anyone, just make sure it's not too cheap because that's when you know the screen will have problems. The quality of this screen is similar to OEM screens but the problem is just that it's not as saturated as the OEM screen, which of course isn't a problem because I had to compare this screen to an OEM screen just to tell the difference.Pros:Performs well in terms of swipingAll areas of the screen workVery similar to OEM quality (glass is about the same)Con:MINOR unsaturated quality of the screen (though not enough to lower the product by a star)I've bought many screens on Amazon and this screen is pretty up there.

Better than the rest
Well, I installed but did not pull the ribbon completely through to the other side. So, I had to uninstall it and reinstall so that the ribbon could reach. The OEM vendor, Orange of Hong Kong, was very kind enough to tell me in a nice way that I needed to do that. But, once I got it right, it worked perfectly. However, it took me 5 hours to install it! Youtube [...] has a great video on how to install it. The screws are very tiny. The tools Orange gave me worked perfectly. But, face it, when you are my age, your hands are not as steady as a 20 year old. So, it takes longer to anchor the screws. I must say that the iPhone 4s is an engineering marvel.

Works fine, harder to install than you might think
The screen works just fine, I cannot tell any difference from the original. I tried to install it my self. There are good step by step guides on the internet but it is not really simple if this is your first time inside one of these phones. The screwdriver provided in the kit was too large, I had to go buy another. You need a 00 or maybe even a 000 Philips head. A magnetized screwdriver is almost a requirement for the tiny screws. There are screws the size of a large piece of sand you have to deal with and the screws are all different sizes. They are difficult to keep track of. There are also other loose tiny parts inside the phone that will fall out unexpectedly. I got it back together and it did not work right. I paid a phone repair store $35 to take it apart and put it back together correctly. Buy this screen but pay someone else to install it if you are new at this. I am a skilled carpenter so I am pretty mechanically inclined but this was over my head.

Read if you have a Verizon iPhone 4s model A1387
I did the replacement myself which was inherently difficult because of the way Apple designed the phone. The display is literally the last piece and you have to take the phone entirely apart in order to do the replacement. When I first installed the replacement display and started working my way back up, I ran into issues when I went to put the sim card back in. The display frame that the supplier sent me was not the exact same one that came with my phone. Of the six metal clasps that are typically secured by screws, one was out of place and blocking the sim card entrance. I disassembled the phone again and attempted to just remove the clasp. My attempts to cut it with a rusty wire cutter was futile but I got my hands on a dremel and with little effort the piece was cut off. I then reassembled the phone and it is working flawlessly now. I have one bad pixel but it is definitely worth the $30 dollars that I paid for the part. When purchasing, just be aware that there are different replacement pieces for different models of the iPhone 4s and while this model ultimately worked out for me, it did take some minor modifications to make it fit. If you have no experience with taking apart electronic devices this repair may not be worth it as you can very easily damage your phone more and despite what some of the other ratings have said it is not an easy replacement.

I had problems with a previous screen I bought from another vendor but this one worked perfectly
It works very well and the quality of the image is really good. Ii'm not really an iPhone user so the phone II fixed is not mine; that's why I can't comment so much about comparisson between the original and this screen. The actual owner of the iPhone was very happy with it so I assume it wasn't very different from the original. As I said, this is the second I buy and this was a good experience compared with the previous one which I had to return. But the old one was bought from another vendor.

Far from OEM
Received product in great time and there were no defects. However, far from own. The glass is thicker than OEM so my home button sits deeper and the quality is far from OEM. Old phone and screen works. Far from OEM....

DO NOT BUY!!! NOT OEM... NEC (Not Even Close)
Total Garbage.. Not sure how anybody can give this 5 stars. The image quality is terrible, very washed out and colors are dull. I know it is only $17 but if you add the time you invest replacing it, it is not worth it. Take it to any repair shop and pay the $50 - $60. You will get a decent screen and save yourself a couple of hours of your valuable time. You will be disappointed!!!Item comes from China and you will have to pay return shipment if you return it, which you will want to.

Fixed my sons iPhone for $16! I watched a youtube video first on dis assembly/assembly and went to work. First time I did something wrong and the screen didn't work. I did it again and it worked perfectly. Once you do it it's not as hard as most people think. The kit that came with it is great but you will need a pair of tweezers and a magnetized screwdriver. I'll buy more.
