He is old enough now to start the music by himself and sometimes turns an alarm on. I had to get rid of this. I saw this on Amazon and it was just what I was looking for. I am using this without batteries, it plugs in. The speakers are super handy. I thought I would have to buy speakers separately.

I like listening to language learning while walking by the lake, the CD player compact palm size is really convenient for me to carry around, it has a sliding lock on the side that prevents it from skipping and opening up if I bump it accidentally.Sound quality is crisp and clear, better than expected, I have no issues with skipping currently.Though I am out of school years, I always believe “it’s never too late to learn”, this small CD player places CD using 3 AA batteries power so that I can keep learning at any time, usually when I finish it, I’ll put it in my bag and go home on my bike. This is an awesome portable CD player that has been recommended to my friends.

Even if the player is in a perpendicular position, it continues to play!!! It holds your place even after you turn it off. I wish I could make the volume a bit louder at times, when the car windows are open. Otherwise it's as close to perfect as imaginable! I recommend rechargeable batteries, as it does use them up. I love, love, love this player.

Travels well in the car, no skipping at all. The fact that it automatically resumes play where we left off listening to a book is a huge plus. The speakers are okay, we opt to plug in to the car audio with the cable provided. The other major plus is the ability to power it through the USB port

I bought this for my family to use on a long drive. Our new car doesn't have a CD player. The first time we used if for 4 hours and it did its job fine. The aux input broke off into the machine on the second use, so we couldn't hook it up to the car's audio system. That's low quality. How can an aux input not be secured? Don't bother.

I use this to listen to music when I walk my dog and it is perfect for that. I'm older and ordered the CDs containing songs that I grew up with and it sounds great on this player. It is not stereo quality, but I was not looking for that. I even walk my dog more now, so he would also rate it five stars (haha).

I was hoping for a portable player that I could use in my car and for travel, as well as at home. It is just too large for that. I didn’t play it because I saw right away it wouldn’t serve my purpose, so I can’t comment on ease of use or sound quality.

Great product, but instructions are a bit difficult to understand. I use it to play a sleep assist cd and keep the player on the nightstand. It has decent quality sound, and is compact and unobtrusive.
