Quick, easy, gets the job done
Works great as a docking station for my laptop, making mobility a breeze. I love working outside on my deck when the weather is nice, and my previous wire mess was a painful deterrent. Now I simply unplug the one connection & go.

Great portable dock -- just use it for what it is.
I use this on the road. You have to provide your own usb-c power supply, presumably the one that powers your USB-c laptop. It provides one HDMI port to hook up to an external monitor -- you'll have to have that specific HDMI cable which connects as well (I carry hdmi, VGA, and DVI-D cables to be safe). Nice to have a larger display or dual displays to work with at your different office sites or hotels or whatever, so your excel sheets and email don't cover each other. Even has network and a usb-c 2.0 ports if you are so lucky to be somewhere wired and with a printer. But, wouldn't use this as your main office home base dock -- would just shell out the $ to get a well powered and connected USB-C 3.1 gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3 dock to future proof you a little bit.

worked instantly
worked great out of the box with no drivers or any configuration needed. using on a think pad with windows 10. power supply pass-through, video, and network all working great, instantly. dock is nice and small. no mounting options. i used a zip-tie and a screw to mount it to the back of a cabinet and hide cables out of the way

Will Not Power Dual, USB-C Portable Monitors
Was told it was an option to power up two USB-C Lenovo ThinkVision M14t portable monitors, but it's not. Neither USB-C outlets will power a single monitor.

Not exactly plug and play
Well, you get what you pay for. I was hoping for 1plug to the laptop for easy grab and run. I was hoping it would charge my laptop. I was ... ok ... I was too lazy ... and in my defense ... didn’t go to Best Buy to ask. It’s mid Covid so I just pushed the button. In short ... it’s a glorified hub. The HDMI port didn’t work. I suspect the old laser printer isn’t working. It’s almost like there’s a driver missing. In time I may figure out why it’s not meeting my expectations. So 3 ... not exactly plug and play. Not sure why Amazon wants to know, but it has nice thickness and seems cool to the touch.

Works right out of the box
I bought this for a Lenovo X1 Extreme, and it works flawlessly. I plug in a monitor, harddrive, microphone, and network cable. It doesn't get hot, and it hasn't failed. No slow down on internet, monitors and USB devices are responsive. Gaming on the attached monitor doesn't lose frames or slow down. Great product!

Works until it doesn't - same with replacement
First unit functioned as expected for about 3 weeks across two laptops (shared space). Then stopped passing video (HDMI monitor), network and power - but one of two USB-A ports continued to work. Returned this unit for replacement.Second unit functioned as expected for about 2 weeks across same devices - no changes made. Same failure mode - no video, network or power, but one USB-A port worked. Returned for a refund and ordered less-expensive Belkin model with same features - has been working over 4 weeks without flaw.Cannot recommend this product.

power delivery finally works for dell xps
this is the only dock that did power delivery to dell xps laptops(dock with a nic card). I had tried 2 others that said they could do it failed to perform the task. this particular dock is also listed on dell's site. this particular dock actually looked like it was not a generic knock off when the packaging arrived. the other docks i have tried arrive with no product marking on the devicewhich is suspect as well. this dock is particular where it has a nic card in it....there are one's by anker that do power delivery to dell xps's...but don't have the nic. on my experience speaking with dell tech support, dell will not advise you on third party docks, so it has been a trial by frustration on what will work. the dell xps's that i am referring to all have thunderbolt ports.

Compact and effective
Sweet device. Very compact (5 inch wide). Using it with Lenovo X1 carbon gen 8, it passes the power through to the laptop nicely. Only thing I did not like: I had hoped to hook 2 monitors to the device (one via HDMI, the other via usb-c), but the usb-c port does not support a monitor

It Works!
My wife uses it with Lenovo ThinkPad T580 and with 2K external monitor.Everything works as described. You need only one USB-C connection for data and battery charging. It is very convenient.
