ACME StudioRings Yellow and Red Roller Ball Pen by Robert & Trix Haussman (P2H04R)

I collect pens. This little number is unusual, eye-catching, plus it writes well

I'm a writer and I also write with both hands...so I naturally end up collecting and enjoying unique pens. This pen looked very unique. HOWEVER...1) it came without an ink cartridge ( which makes it even worse because I'm not even sure what kind of refill to get that will fit it.) And 2) - even more ridiculous - once removing the cap, it does not fit on the back of the pen. I hold the cap in my other hand so I don't end up losing it. I've never had a pen so stupidly engineered. On one plus side, it did come with a nice leather pouch. Hmmmm...I'm thinking of a certain in-law who only uses pens for shopping lists will get this as a birthday present. I wonder how long before she notices there's no ink in it...and yes, I will be keeping the leather pouch.
