Wonderful addition to my stones. These are absolutely perfect to use in my practice, and perfect sizes. I already have a few of the much larger sacral/abdomen stones in my current set, so all two large stones in this set are going to be great for massaging quads, glutes, and other larger areas. The toe stones will be great for toes and for facial stones as well. Nice quality, nice variety, really pleased. Reading these comments, I am seeing a lot of people who are not professionals using some potentially dangerous heating methods. Even as a LMT, you are required to go through extra training and certification to be covered by liability insurance. You NEVER want to use stones hotter than 145 degrees F. 125-135F is going to be a good range to work with. The qualities of basalt make it VERY VERY easy to cause SERIOUS burns if you don't know what you are working with. Leave it to the professionals, or at the very least watch a bunch of videos on techniques and safety.

I received my stones today and the small ones look polished, however the other ones are not. I tested one on my back and it held heat pretty well, and actually longer than the stones I use at work. I can get pass the fact that I have a misshaped one; just as long as it holds heat and is smooth I should be okay. Will update post once I start using the whole set to massage.

The stones I got did not look anything like the picture.The stones look like they were picked up from someone's back yard.The were smooth, but they were odd shapes, most were not oval or flat enough to stay on the client.They were river rocks.And they cooled down to room temperature in less than a minute.There were definitely NOT Basalt.Not usable as massage stones.

Very nice shirts. Fit well. I tend to order long sleeves I Large and short sleeve mojos in XL. Work good.

These stones are just ok. They are very smooth and shaped well, but they are smaller in person than they appear here. Only the 2 extra large ones are any good for work on the back. Also, they don't hold heat all that long. I would possibly suggest these stones for reflexology treatments or facials, but for full body massage, they just aren't what you need. I went to the local landscaping store and got about 20 mexican river rocks for $8. They aren't as smooth and pretty, but they hold heat for a long time and are way cheaper than any "massage stones"

Only used those stones once and didn't have chance to use again. They are heavy and can't be too hot when putting on the body but they lost the heat quickly and became cold so I guess need to keep putting them back to the hot water to reheat. Just saw a video about another way to use those hot stones: put hot stone in soup during winter time and that will keep your soup hot all the way till you finish.

This was a good starter set. 5 of the 6 stones had a matching piece... the last one matched nothing. And one of the stones did have a small imperfection hole in it. I bought supplemental stones elsewhere...but this was a good starter set to get me going. Plus the RubRocks site has long round stones I can't find anywhere else...so I did order these from their site as well.
