I bought this to hang on a golf bag. I play in the rain a lot and I am afraid this will not last. Other than that it is easy to read and was the size I was looking for.6/15/15 update. Poor quality and poor design . the Crown broke off with in a month. Sent it back to manufacture and it was replaced. The next one lasted 2 months and broke off again. Really weak and does not allow being placed in a pocket ( although its supposed to be a pocket watch) as the pressure easily breaks off the crown. I bought something else

At first glance, it's a great pocket watch, heavy, nice mineral crystal face. But upon closer inspection there are flaws. For one, the outside is painted black over probably an aluminum case. Looks good now, but bang it around and it will start looking bad quick. The back looks like a heavy stainless brushed back. Well it's a stainless brushed back, but pretty thin, has a groove to snap it off for battery change and to my surprise, it pops off by simply sticking your fingernail in and prying. Like they say, it's not water resistant. Inside the back is a sticker, 'Made in China', big surprise. A lot of empty space inside, basically a cheap oversized watch that contains a japanese movement. The second hand doesn't stop at every second, sometimes it skips a half tick between seconds, I thought maybe it meant low battery like my Citizen Eco, but no, it does this randomly, basically meaning it's just cheap. It keeps great time, looks great, I just don't think it's worth the price I paid of $60 plus. I do believe it should be in the $30 range.

I am a Chef, and this is great watch for me. I haven't wore a wrist watch in years, because I am constantly washing my hands. This pocket watch works great when clipped on to my Chef coat, and hidden/protected tucked behind the overlap of my coat. Very durable, keeps great time, classy, and I will probably get another for a back up.

Looks nice enough and clip is handy for my uses. But after a month the watch stopped. Trying to get back off to see if that will be the answer. but so far no luck. Not recommended for the price.

This was a grat gift for my husband. He carries a pocketwatch at work, but recently has been ruining about 1 watch every 3 months. This one appears to be heavy built and has a nice long cord on it so that he can easily get it deeper into his pockets. The outer casing should withstand everything he puts a watch through.Wished it came with a flip cover or a leather case to cover the face and prevent it from getting scratched.

Surprisingly long. but then you have to flip it around to look at the time as in picture. Easy to read with out reading glasses.
