Swarovski Crystal and Pearl Beaded Wedding Bridal Sash Belt - White

First & foremost this sash is beautiful and the crystals and pearl beading are/is exquisite. The bridal gown salon we got my daughter's gown from kept showing us very dingy cream, ivory, very "off"-white sashes that never went appropriately with my daughter's gown. Each one the sashes they kept bringing out looked old, dingy, and like something picked out from a second-hand store with very cheap beading & crystals. And when questioning why they didn't have white sashes--well, white one's weren't "in fashion" according to "them"! Her gown is a crystal-white or ice-white. I knew to set the gown off it needed a brighter white with much better looking bling & beading, and it definitely did. When putting this sash on made the whole difference in the gathering of the waste to the flow of the gown. OH, YES, they kept trying to say the darker colors were better as they didn't detract from the gown. Well, I knew & know better and they were just trying to sell their ridiculous looking sashes, because when we got this one it made a match beautifully and the dress and her in it were still the main attraction. They kept saying we could purchase the sash, take off the appliques and put on another ribbon sash to our liking. Sure, I'm going to purchase their $100 or more sash, take off the appliques (that I can actually get at the hobby/craft stores) to go out and locate ribbon somewhere to make a sash and put their, not even up to hobby/craft store quality, appliques on it--NOT! Life is a lesson always and just remember not to let sales-people (especially commissioned) cloud your judgement in these very important choices. What they may deem "fashion" or in "vogue" is just another way of them saying "I want your money!" - Don't let them and remember to shop around if it is not to "your" exact liking--and if all else fails, there is always Amazon!
