the double female union pipe is great and realy safety conscious, however you cannot fit it to a calor gas regulator? Our regulators have a male thread nut that screws into tap on the top of the gas bottle? The foreign gas bottles receive a Female threaded nut ! So there is no point in purchasing the Roth Regulator. What we need is a Male Tail Piece to fit on the bottom of the torch handle so we can push it into the rubber gas pipe and use a Hose Clip. Otherwise a Double male Adaptor / Connector to join the calor regulator to the end of the Roth pipe. As yet I'm still investigating thease parts. Please note some people use the SILVERLINE Regulator, However there is some question of quality control on this cheaper regulator and its Safety , you either get one that works properly or its a faulty death trap., who knows some advertised may be Fakes ??Why does no one doo a good quality alternative regulator , and why doesn't Rothenberger doo a UK style fitting regulator ? Please note the Roth gas pipe is sleeved with a smaller diameter Black pipe inside ? If you purchase a non adjustable calor regulator ( flying saurcer) type, youl struggle even with hot water to soften the pipe to push it over the tail piece on the regulator.
