These buttons are absolutely stunning! I've been waiting quite some time for there to be high quality joycon button replacements to surface on the market and the time has finally come. The buttons are very smooth and feel amazing. Everything fits perfectly and the paint is very glossy and pretty! These pictures do not do it justice.My only gripe (and the reason I marked down a star) is that the triwing screwdriver that came with this product was a bit off or it was too small and caused one of my screws to strip. Therefore I was unable to take apart my left joycon and do the replacement for that side. I will most likely have to buy new joycons in order to utilize other half of the buttons in this kit.Aside from that though, the product itself is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who's brave enough to tear apart their joycons. It's definitely worth it!Edit:After about three months now, I can still confidently say that these buttons and joycon shells are worth the money. I've completed my full replacement (refer to newer pictures) and am very glad that I opted for this brand over the other competitors.That being said though, I have also encountered another issue; the shells tend to stain very easily. I highly recommend getting a slim transparent case in order to preserve the quality of the material all the while still displaying its beauty. That or be extremely careful to not dirty your switch because these stains do not come off even with water/alcohol.Overall, I'm still happy about these products but in order to keep everything nice and pristine, you really have to take care of your switch.

Let me start by saying that while this set isn't perfect, it's darn close and is a cheap way to make your switch look awesome. Below I will list the he positives and negatives and areas I think they could improve this product. I will also attach pictures for reference.Positives:1. Button Quality - From what I can tell, the buttons are perfectly molded to fit and mimic the stock buttons perfectly. Use a nail file to trim any pieces of plastic that may protrude after removing the piece from the mold.2. Appearance - These look great! The color I chose looks exactly as I expected. After showing a friend, he was really impressed and thought it looked really good.3. Price - Great price and an affordable way to customize your switch. Cheaper and easier than a shell exchange.Negatives / Potential Improvements:1. Not All Buttons Included - The set comes with most buttons, but is missing the plus, minus, screenshot, and home buttons. While I could forgive excluding the home and screenshot buttons, I was very disappointed not to get plus and minus buttons. It would be great for the joycon to have a completely unison look.2. No Button Outlines - While the buttons do have the lettering to indicate what button it is, the lettering is the same color as the button, so it makes it very hard to see. While this isn't an issue for us passionate Switch users, it could make things a little confusing if I'm playing with non-switch owner friends and I say "hurry, press (button name)" and they look down at the controller to see where the button is and have to squint to find it. In future revisions, it would be awesome to see maybe the main buttons still have the lettering outlined.3. Concerns About Paint Rubbing Off - These buttons have a more matte feel than the stock buttons which can feel a little slick at times. This can be a good or bad thing depending on your personal preferencea, but it doesn't bother me. However, I am concerned that due to this lack of clear coat on the buttons, that the paint may begin to rub off over time with extended use. Of course I just received these, so it's not an issue yet, but I could see the issue arising in the future.4. Lacking Tool Set - While they do include the srewdrivers that you will need, if you are going to do this button replacement, I recommend having some prying tools and a good pair of tweasers handy. It would have been nice to have these included, but fortunately, I had some laying around and it made the installation so much easier.Conclusion: Despite some minor imperfections, this is still an awesome upgrade for your switch. If the seller decided to embrace one or more of the above suggestions in the future, I think this would be one hell of an amazing product.

After finishing assembly today I think these buttons came out phenomenally. I couldn’t justify spending 20-40$ on a full new Joycon and switch shell so I decided, to my joycons a custom look, just get the buttons. The left Joycon is much easier to swap than the right but both are doable if you have a triple digit IQ. All in all I will give these 5 stars unless I have issues in the future. Only difference I noticed between the stock buttons was that the triggers don’t compress as much but that didn’t bother me. Just take your time and don’t rush it and you will have great results. Would definitely recommend getting a Nintendo tool set here before starting.

If you're looking for a way to customize your controller I would highly recommend this. I love the texture on these buttons! Super soft and the colors are beautiful. I went ahead and changed the shell to white so that the color can really pop. This project can be intimidating at first glance as the assembly is a bit challenging, especially if you're not tech savvy but can be done by watching the tutorial online. I would just take your time when disassembling your controllers. Doing some research before hand can help as well. Would buy again in a heart beat but I need to buy new joy cons first.

Really great product look amazing. Is a shame they dont include the plus and minus and the home and capture buttons as these now don't match. The spare screws and spring were welcome as the srpings in particular are a nightmare if you lose one.

The buttons are pretty good, cant fault them, HOWEVER, buy some proper drivers as the ones that come with the kit are completely useless.

I bought these for my boyfriend and he really really loves them! They are a really nice accent colour on his joycons. The only issue with it was that one of the buttons (The L button) isn't very clicky once installed and locks up a bit but it has fixed itself over time a little. We had a little difficulty installing but that's not the fault of the buttons at all. I'm thinking about buying some for my own switch now!!
