Vetzlife Oral Care Gel Peppermint Flavor, 12oz

This is the best product on the market!!! My Vet wanted to do a cleaning but I decided to try this first.So easy to use. In the beginning I applied it to my dogs teeth twice a day for about 2 weeks. The tartar melted off (brown stuff on his eye teeth). It also helped the plaque on his teeth which is unbelievable(stuff around gum line) Now I just put it on at night before bed. He hates the peppermint but too bad. He can handle it, just happy I don't have to spend the money at the vets for a cleaning and put him through anesthesia. I've been using this for over a year now. But remember you must be diligent and do it every day. You will be surprised at the results. Love this stuff.

OK. I know it's for dogs, but I have a a tarter issue in some areas of my mouth. I used this product for about a week, the tarter came off completely!!!!! GONE. The only side effect is, when I walk out to my car, I lift my leg on my tire.But, seriously, it worked on my teeth! For real.

Just received the product, so can't say if it does anything or not yet, but my dog wasn't thrilled..lol..she licked her lips, which, according to the product is a good thing, then rubbed her face in the carpet, that lasted all of maybe a minute. I hope we get the results others have gotten as she is old and has heart issues, going under for a teeth cleaning isn't an option for her. We also brush and use EFAC tabs every night, they have done wonders for her gums, now we just need help with her teeth, I'll post again when or if I see any changes.

Needs to be more mild for sensitive doggie tastebuds

This is an easy-to-use product. Easy application. The dogs love the flavor and smell. It's an amazing product that gets rid of any built up plaque and tartar (actually unbelievable), all safe ingredients too. You don't need a brush. The dog will not fight you each day when you want to apply this to their teeth and gums.

Not great for Dog breath! Too hard to get into dogs mouth, teeth to get any benefit.

Our vet recommended this product. We have been brushing our dogs teeth with it for years. The first photo is our 15 year old standard poodle, then our 7 year old standard and the 3rd photo was taken when she was 16 years old. There teeth are always white and rarely do they ever need cleaning. We use it EVERY night. Use every day is the key.

We have used this product for years on the recommendation of our veterinarian. In the beginning the dogs, both 9 years old now, were not too fond of it, but now they come voluntarily to have it rubbed on the gums. They have no health issues at all, despite their advanced age. They never lost a tooth or have gingivitis and NO bad breath. This is a very good product. The key is, to put it on regularly every night.
