Don't believe the reviews!
Something is wrong with reviewers. Not sure what it is, maybe they are just being paid but the 'big guys'. But I really don't understand why phones like this get such a bad press. This is a sleek, well built phone, with few of the annoying extras eg Bixby! Fingerprint scanner on the side (where it should be) works well. Camera works well. Call quality so good I think my old Note 9 must have been faulty. Just go a try it!

i love my Xperia 1. i waited over a year for it.
this is my 3rd Sony phone, and by far is my favorite. big 6.5 inch screen for big hands. someone tell Sony if they want to go bigger, i will not object. really an awesome phone.

Size is perfect, amazing screen
I was hesitant based on reading other reviews about the size of this phone, but it's actually perfect. Great for reading emails, news, etc. and the width is a bit more narrow than my previous Xperia making it easier to hold in one hand. The phone I received had the Hong Kong version of the firmware, but I used Newflasher and switched it to the Europe 3 version because the Group Messaging was missing; it's back now. I use it with both an AT&T sim and a Google Fi sim and it works perfect!
