Fantastic Ladder - only issue for some people might be the weight...
I bought the Little Giant 22 ft ladder from Amazon during one of their Christmas sales during 2012. The price was fantastic (just under 200) and the ladder works great! We have pretty high ceilings and I've used it to easily replace ceiling can flood bulbs in the stairwell by just adjusting the legs on the ladder to different heights. I couldn't even put a ladder in the stairwell before, and even if I did my 8 ft step ladder wouldn't have reached the bulb. It's fairly easy and intuative to switch heights with the Rock Locks, as well as switch between an extension ladder vs. an A frame step ladder. The ladder feels very sturdy to me, and I'm a little over 200 lbs. I really think this is a very well made product and would not hesitate purchasing again ... although I think this will last my lifetime so I probably won't need to buy again...This ladder allows me to get rid of both my 8 ft step ladder as well as my extenstion ladder - and by mounting it on the wall with the Wall Rack I have gained a lot more storage space in my garage. I also bought the work platform to go with it, but I haven't used that yet. Some minor issues that may be major for others - the ladder is a bit heavy (approx 40 lbs). This might make it difficult for some people to move around the home. It isn't for me, but I could see it might be a problem for some. It does have rubber wheels on the bottom which make it easy to move over a flat, smooth surface however. When the ladder is in an extension mode, the treads are a bit small which isn't real comfortable to stand on for a long period of time. You can alleviate this by buying the work platform accessory, but I don't know how easy it is to use with this since I haven't used mine yet.If you can wait to buy the ladder, Amazon usually has this one sale during the Christmas season (Black Friday/Monday) as well as one of there specials during the remaining holiday season (when I bought mine). The specials will save you a significant amount of money.

Climb With Confidence On A Sturdy, Well-Engineered Ladder
I am extremely pleased with this ladder and can't imagine how it could be improved. I am 6'-2" and unskinny by nature. Mounting or dismounting a 2-legged ladder from the roof was always a shaky experience. As an engineer I would never specify an access method as unstable as that for a worker. This Little Giant ladder with 4-leg support is much more stable and I no longer dread chores that require a ladder. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to raise and lower it, and how to adjust the pivot point in the middle of the ladder. Both were simple and logical adjustments and soon I was confident in their use. Those adjustments take a lot of bending stress, but the steel pins holding them in place are thick and sturdy. They obviously have been sized with a good safety margin in mind, and are captured with spring-loaded levers that prevent them from moving once set. I can see whether they are firmly in place with a quick visual inspection, and be confident that they will not fail while I am using the ladder. The side rails are also sized with a good safety margin, as are the rungs. This makes the ladder heavy, which is unavoidable for a sturdy 4-legged ladder of this length. To move it, I stand under it and place one hand on a rung on each side, just above my head. Then I just straighten my elbows to lift the legs off the ground. My arms are not particularly muscular but this method makes best use of what I have. This allows me to position the legs just where I want them, and keeps my back straight when I lift.I can lift the ladder while it is extended. I think anyone taller than about 4-1/2 feet who can lift 40 lbs off the ground and carry it 10 feet could handle this ladder with proper techniques. He/she can always retract the sides of the ladder so they can reach the appropriate rungs. The Little Giant reeks of exceptional engineering. These are the folks who beam aboard a crippled starship and have the shields, phasers, warp drive, and lavatories repaired by the time the Klingons show up with bad intentions. You can trust them with your life.
