OliveNation Pure Strawberry Extract 8 oz.

Can't tell the difference between this product and real fresh strawberries! I use this making my tasty (I really should sell them commercially) milkshakes.🥛

This extract has a wonderful fresh strawberry flavor. However, it is very potent. You need to use an eye dropper to measure, unlike some other less strong flavorings. If you get a flavor that is too bitter or too much like alcohol, etc, you used too much. I use this to flavor iced tea. For one gallon of fairly strong tea, I use only 1.3 ml of flavoring, which is about 1/4 teaspoon. DO NOT use the normal measures in a recipe to substitute this flavoring - it will be too strong.If you do not believe me about the strength, let me ask you - have you ever tasted vanilla extract straight out of the bottle? Even if you love vanilla in cookies, cakes or tea, etc, you will likely think it tastes horrid and bitter straight out of the bottle! So if you think yours tastes bad, try using less.Note - different Olive Nation extracts are different strengths, so experiment with a little until you know how much you need for a particular recipe. For one gallon of tea, I can use one teaspoon of mango extract, 1/4 tsp of strawberry, 1/16 tsp of watermelon, and less than 1/16 tsp of apricot (I just got eye droppers and need to experiment with the last one - it is really strong!). This Key Lime extract is the closest flavor to the real thing and when I bake with it everyone loves it

The extract is really good but does have an alcohol after taste if you use too much. I wanted to use it to make hot tea, but it would be better for cooking. The cooking process will burn off the alcohol after taste.

This tastes great in a key lime smoothie. It doesn’t taste artificial.

Might be OK for baking. But is terrible to flavor water.

I bought this to make a strawberry scratch cake. OMG! This extract lends REAL strawberry flavor to baked goods and icings. So much better than the "flavorings" used in commercial snack cakes. And the size is large enough that I will not have to buy any more for a very long time And extracts never go bad so it will last forever. I just wish it came in a glass bottle.

Not the best nor the worst it just needs a bit improvement..when I first tasted it it tasted kind of off ..in my drink it was not bad but had to use more to get the taste a bit..next time I shook it up a little and then in the drink it tasted better…yes also the alcohol is kind a strong in it for one has to use more to get a good taste…Pete O….

Today I used the Maple Extract for the first time as I wanted to use up the product I always used to use but couldn't find it. My recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon. I had to use over 1/2 teaspoon and it still wanted enough. I'm going to try to hunt for the brand of peppermint extract I used before or try another brand because this one doesn't cut it.

Amazon disallows return of these poor quality flavour extracts as potentially “explosive” to ship. (No danger apparently exists shipping them TO you however, lol!)Purchased these expensive “extracts” as hopeful improvement over grocery store brands, which turn out to be far better flavoured at less than half the price of these heavily alcohol based products. Berry flavours are almost non-existent, and banana, coconut, etc. have brackish aftertaste of artificial sweeteners. Normally don’t waste time/energy on negative reviews, but these are expensive, disappointing, un-returnable, and to be avoided.

Great flavour but VERY potent so don't use too much. amazing value for the price, the bottle will last me quite a long time, for a fraction of the cost.

This is wonderful. The taste of almonds is better than I have ever baked with. Highly recommend it.
