The blank dish is probably described and made of solid metal.

They are just pieces of shaped metal with holes cut into them. However, these are very nice shaped piece of metal with some holes cut into them. I used them to update the connectors on my Yamaha S115IVs to speakon. They fit perfectly, except for the screw holes, I had to re-drill those (which was not a problem). The connectors fit perfectly within the cutouts, but keep in mind that you have to source a way to mount the connectors and keep them in. Also, the paint (or is it powder coating) on these is very nice and clean looking, what more could you ask for?

These plates are amazing... they look very professional and clean. Install was a bit difficult with getting the size just right. I initially placed the plate right on my combo rack case and simply outlined the back of the plate onto the wall of the combo rack case, but it was still to small to fit. What you need to realize is that you need to take the dimensions from the front of the plate but the part where the edges start bending in to get a nice fit on the cuttout you will have to make on the combo rack case...

I purchased four of these to make a guitar effects pedal board. They are made of thick steel, so I imagine they could stand up to some abuse. These are quality hardware that can give any project a professional, finished look.

These are very nice and should hold up to the most demanding needs. My panel mount connectors fit perfectly. If your building you own PA speakers these are a great addition.

I bought a few of these and end up have to buy the metal ones, which were real better and firm. These are plastic and might break later. For mobile gear I would not used them

I ordered the above item expecting Two Neutrik D holes (as pictured). However, I received a dish with only One Neutrik D hole. Hard to recommend when you don't get what was ordered. This is going to delay the completion of my project. Very disappointed.
