Explore the exciting world of bikes with a stylish urban ride that's perfect for your on the go lifestyle. The 700c Monroe 250 urban electric bike has a 250 watt hub drive motor with a thumb pad controller on the handlebar. With an LED display showing battery life and assistance level, you can use the thumb pad to completely control your ride. There are five different levels of pedal assist for you to choose from, which offer e assistance up to 20 miles per hour. When you pedal, the motor activates and provides added assistance which you'll appreciate on daunting hills and long fitness rides. Depending on the level of assistance used, weight on the bike and path you take, the battery will last up to 45 miles and fully recharges (using a standard household outlet) in about six hours. Simple and efficient pavement riding awaits you on this urban e bike. The Monroe 250 features a stylish aluminum fixie style frame with a comfortable riding position and a simple single speed drivetrain. Show off your sleek ride around town then zip over to happy hour after a long day at work. Tektro mechanical disc brakes with motor cutoff levers give you the stopping power you need to ride confidently, while the wide tires have an added puncture resistance layer for extra durability. The Monroe 250 is available in small through large frame sizes and comes with a 2 year on the battery and electric assist parts and a lifetime on the frame and fork. Go electric with the Schwinn Monroe 250!

Solid bike - learn some basics! Manual sucks (every version of every product...not helpful!)
Been using the bike to commute to work for over a month now. (3 miles each way, hills). The bike is a single speed - most decent bikes with gears on a flat road can easily beat you. However you smoke everyone on hills. Ez pz even on a steep hill.In general at max assist the ride will be super easy, besides stop lights etc you are basically going at a constant decent clip. For other urbanites, you will be passing bird/etc scooters clogging up your bike lanes.Easy to remove and charge the battery. Frustrating it takes up some frame space - even the smaller U-Lock I got is a super tight fit. Overall great bike, could be sexier with a build in battery. The space will move towards a bit more aesthetic appeal while still remaining removable (removable frame segment, bike seat post batteries already exist at different price points).I put it together knowing ZERO about bikes and having barely ridden on in 6+ years. That was easy.Tips-Don't hand tighten anything (duh)... dumb me had my front wheel knocking loose for a week before I gave it a proper tightening. Check tightness on all the pieces they send-My brake level tension got super loose.... 5 minute fix but since I was a noob and didn't talk to anyone I lived dangerously for 2 weeks instead of understanding the absolutely trivial 4 seconds it takes to rotate the adjustment barrel near the tires...BIG TIP - The battery level misleads you in my experience. your battery will appear at 5 bars, 4 bars forever. When it hits 3 there is NOT 60% left..... more like 25%. Pretty lame but if you wind up gambling on that you'll end up like me - peddling a ton of dead weight on a single speed bike. I'm 215lbs+work bag+ulock+~60lb bicycle=slow and painful

DO NOT BUY EVER
Wrong size. Too big. Cannot return due to it being a possible flammable item. Called manufacturer to see if I can return it and they said they only service the bike. Any other issues like returns, refunds are strictly amazon. They are not helpful at all. Even if you speak to supervisor

Faulty items
Purchased this bike for a relative and within 2 months the charger failed altogether, rendering the bike useless. I have made multiple requests for Schwinn to correct this problem but have hear nothing from this company. Would not recommend whatsoever.
