A minimal, serene landscape of water reflecting sky. This piece was inspired by an upstream view of the Potomac River from Key Bridge at Georgetown in Washington, DC. The late autumn color was very simple which allowed the intention of the piece to focus on the back-lighting of the clouds and the light on the river. The sides are finished in a black oil paint. The work is varnished and wired to hang.
