Perfect for my application
I have a 1995 4wd Geo Tracker I am reconditioning. I put some 29in mudders on it and needed to add some economical fender flares on it. The Flexy Flares gave me the rugged look I wanted and they are in fact rugged with the wire support that comes with the package. It took me a couple of hours to install and I used Stainless screws and washers instead of the zinc ones that came with it .I get a lot of compliments and am very happy with the product.

This was not a perfect solution to the problem I had but for what it is, I give it a 5 star rating as it solved the problem. I used a #12 inch and half SS screw on the ends. The steel wire is absolutely necessary. Also, in case you can measure exactly what you need try out the OEM's website, you can buy this stuff in feet increments. Also the seller did an excellent job on shipping.

Works
If your middle name is OCD walk away. For me it's solving the problem of coming back with pounds of mud chunks on my windshield. On the concrete is the bit extra due to my universal mud flaps. Locking pliers are handy installing solo. The wire is one long strand and is like cutting a nail. I used a 7/64 drill bit to make the holes. 1/4 bit holder to run in the screws.

They look pretty good too
These will get you legal for a very fair price. They look pretty good too. The negatives are that now matter how you install it is pretty much impossible to get the perfect curve as you screw into your fenders. My fenders have areas that are sort of bent instead of survey where you screw in. I tried different pressure amounts on screws, nothing helped. They are also not water tight, so when it rains the water goes right into where you screwed which will most def. Rust your fenders out faster. I am planning a 100% black silicone to seal it up. Final negative is that they go over your inner well plastics. So when you need to work on something requiring the plastics off then you have to remove the 20 or how ever many screws on thus fender. Then try to get them all back in the same holes. Not looking forward to that if I silicone them.

Awesome for what they are...
I installed the Flexy Flares on my 87 Ford 4x4 Econline. I did this because I could not find fitted fenders anywhere. Shortly after my flares arrived, I finally found fitted flares in a junk yard. I wish I would have sent the Flexy Flares back. The quality of these flares is actually pretty good. The fact that they've designed a flare that will fit on so many vehicles is really amazing. The installation isn't that difficult. You should take your time so you get your fit and cuts just right. It's also good to have help. I attempted to install these without removing the wheels. Take your time and remove the wheels - I eventually had to. It's much easier with the wheels out of the way. You can get almost all the screws in without removing them, but the last few screws will destroy you.The flares will never have the same look as fitted flares. Since installing mine, I've spotted these flares on another van. The look was very similar, although the other flares were larger. If you can, I recommend the larger flare. If you have the option of buying fitted flares, you'll definitely want to choose that option. If you don't, you'll probably find that these flares get the job done and look alright. For what they accomplish, they're actually a pretty impressive product.

They fit just the way they were supposed to.
This is why I don’t leave reviews. I know what I want I buy what I want and I don’t like leaving reviews it takes time away from my job

Gets the job done!!
Overall satisfied with the look, it is recommended to take off tires or use a stubby wrench to tighten ends. Looks great once finished, cut the front at an angle do it doesn’t look blocky. Very durable with the reinforcement wire.

Defective parts
I have bought these before in the past from other venders and I usally buy a 50 to 100 foot roll. Any how I bought two boxes of these pre cut and the boxes were intact but looked very old and have been opened and closed alot. Any how the reason for the 1 star is do to that these parts are defective but I already trashed the boxes so I am just stuck with them. I dont think the vender knows that they are defective but who knows. The reason I say they are defective is that when they were made one side the outside is longer then the inside when they made these. What I mean is that lets say u lay them flat on the ground well when u do it looks like a smile or rainbow curve. Now dont get me wrong as these do have a slight curve to them for the wheel well arch but that arch is if u are holding it up in the middle it should arch to help fit the wheel well area. Well this does that but let say u have a nice arch while holding the part and then u walk up to a flat surface then u can see that there is also a arch away from ur flat surface. So any how here at the shop we have ran into this issue before but a few years back with this same product. What my body guy did was cut v notches out of the back side were it mounts to the under side fender lip which took alot of time and messing with the part to look right on the vehicle and also u have to put a screw with washer on every single none cut v part. So it will look like this on the mounting side of the flare VVVVVVV. The reason for it is to bring it back straight as the outer flare part is longer than the inside flat part. Any how we have ran into these same defect fender flare parts before and last time we were in a rush to finish the vehicle but this time I had the time so I just ordered a 100 foot roll and my guys had each fender done in about 15 to 20 min. We also have learned when installing these as we have done alot of them and they look and work great to take the screw they send u and keep them for some thing else as we now use self tapping torques deck screws with the big flat heads built into them. They dont rust hold the flares on real good and tight and u can get all kinds of colors so they dont stick out and really look factory. Also the metal wire that comes with these will rust if u dont use a sealer on each end as we use windshiled sealer black 3m product and it just take a little bit and will nnever come out. We use on some alium wire or stainless steel wire or the wire they send us depending on what vehicle its going on. I would send these back but dont have the boxes so thats my fault.
