Good Pants that Keep Me Cool and Dry in Warm Weather!
Now that it's finally getting warm here in Wisconsin, I've been spending a lot more time outside walking, playing basketball, and playing with my kids. I've always liked Under Armour's products and decided to treat myself to some new workout clothes this year for spring and summer when I came upon these HeatGear Capri pants. For anyone who is new to UA products, HeatGear is the clothing line meant to keep you cool in warmer weather whereas the ColdGear line is meant to keep you warm in cooler weather. I currently own a pair of ColdGear compression pants in a large and figured a large in these would work well for me.For reference, I am 5'6", 155 pounds, and a large fits pretty well for me. I typically purchase medium or large for pants depending on the style and fit. This line of capri pants are the compression fit so they are like a second skin. I don't mind that so much but I have had some issues with the waist sliding down so I find myself pulling them up quite often. It's hard to say if it's the pants themselves or my body shape since I'm still working on toning my tummy. I discovered that it helps to pull them up a bit starting in the leg so they sit a bit higher on my stomach. It may make me feel a bit like Steve Urkel but no one will know that except me because my workout shirts hide that part. ;) These pants are pretty good at keeping me cool when it's warm out and I'm sweating a lot from playing basketball. Of course, I still sweat a bit in the leg area but they actually work a lot better than my other workout capri pants because these UA pants don't get super sweaty and gross. That may change when I'm wearing them when it's in the 90s and humid but I've worn them in 70 and 80 degree weather and have really liked them so far.I ordered the Carbon Heather/Metallic Silver and I love the color. I usually purchase black pants but these were cheaper at the time and it's nice to add a bit of variety to my workout wardrobe. I've included a picture of my pants paired with a pink shirt so you can see what the color looks like. The inseam measures 18 inches and for me, the bottoms of these pants go past my knees, even when I hike them up a bit so they don't slip down as much. I really like the length since I'm a bit self-conscious about my legs. These also wash up really well. I wash them with my dark colors and hang dry them so they last longer. They are made in Mexico of 80% polyester and 20% elastane. Because of the material, these pants hardly have any friction when you are running or walking so your legs just glide past each other, which is really nice.Overall, I'm very happy with my pants even though the waistline slides down a bit at times. Adjusting them seems to work for me and I will definitely order another pair in the future. I recommend these pants if you don't like feeling super sweaty when working out in warm weather, just know that they are meant to be a snug fit.

Okay for summer cycling
I have the UA compression shorts in XL, so I thought Large would be better. Probably should have gone with XL in these, so keep that in mind for my review. They're a little snug all over for this reason. Otherwise, these are pretty great. I wear these for commuting via bike. The waistband rolls a bit in the front when I lean over, but back stays up and secure. The back panels behind the knees sometimes are irritating while riding, as the seams rub occasionally. I don't know if another size would be better, but the front seam can be revealing when off my bike and sometimes irritating while riding. I'd probably rather get all black ones and wear them with skirts if I'm not changing at my destination. As far as the heat aspect, they're pretty great. I don't feel super sweaty when riding them (just a larger size might be more comfortable) in 90 degree (humid Pittsburgh) weather. The length helps keep the back of my knees from sticking together, which has made them preferable to my shorts on the hottest days.Giving 4 stars because I think with the correct size, I'd probably like them more. And these would probably be great for running (I just can't do that anymore due to knee injury).

Oooh, shiny!
(I think I might be the queen of four-star reviews at this point. I'm too nice to closely evaluate everything, but I'm too negative to blindly award a perfect score).I didn't really know what Heatgear meant when I ordered these, and I think I do now. I get the sense that these will be fabulous for winter jogs in Boston (assuming I ever jog, or go to Boston). Definitely a solid insulating vibe. Of course, the corollary seems to be a high risk of overheating when lifting heavy things in SoCal sun, so buyer beware - these aren't very breathable. However, they are comfortable, very flattering (hi, compression), look more expensive than they are, very opaque (so good for both yoga and sweating a ton), and move well. I feel better when I wear them, and that is a good thing. So, I think these actually do earn their four stars, thank you very much.

They feel like second skin fit to me
I'm not sure what others mean when they say these are not compression fit. They feel like second skin fit to me. For reference, I am 5'6'', 150 pounds and wear a size 8 in jeans. The medium capri fits great. I ordered the grey color and it's not see through. The only issue I noticed is that these do show sweat a little, but I also sweat profusely after running 3-4 miles. That aspect doesn't bother me too much but I would prefer it didn't show, hence a 4 star rating. The waistband stayed snug through out my run and I have no other complaints. These are very comfortable and a reasonable price.

I am a convert.
I have always thought workout gear was just a big scam. A lot of money, just for a name. I have recently learned, I was wrong. I have just recently started upgrading my workout wear. This was my first Under Armour purchase. I really really like them. They are so soft, and move so well. No pinching, no gaps. Tags are a little big and stiff and itchy. I wish they would go tagless. I am currently washing them for the first time, so we will see how that goes. I think as long as I am here reviewing I will buy another pair!

Get the job done
I love these pants for whenever I'm not running because they are very slimming and don't give me that dreaded camel toe some pants can give you. The only con to these is that the waist is slightly loose. I only notice it when I run/jog because they feel like the waist is constantly falling down. I feel like this is the case with most workout pants I own, unfortunately. Maybe sizing down may solve this issue if you don't mind them being a bit tighter all round. For reference, I am 5'2", 138 pounds and I got the medium.
