Correction to previous review. After running diagnostic with battery removed, I powered off for about an hour. I inserted the battery and at log-in, battery shown 100% and has been the only power source for 3 hours.Appears to be performing well. Please accept this as a favorable review for the supplier. After several hours the battery appears to be in good working order and fully charged (100%)

I changed the battery and bought a new dell 65watt charger- refuses to recognize the charger in the bios. This is apparently a big issue for dell inspiron laptops for years know. Not sure where the issue is exactly, but mostly I feel know it was mostly in purchasing a dell laptop in the first place.I can't rate battery life or longevity as the thing won't charge.

After using this MR90Y Laptop Battery for the past 3 months, I have noticed that it is not compatible with my Dell Inspiron M731R -5735. Although I had no problem with installation, it does not charge. A note says, "the battery type cannot be identified by the computer" when I use the F2 setup button. I have to use the F1 setup button daily since purchasing this item. LOL. I have to find another compatible battery... Thanks

This laptop battery was very easy to install. My laptop has been given new life and now operates like new!

It fit my Dell 17" laptop perfectly. It charged up and seems to be working great!

Seems a good replacement. Too early to determine if life of replacement battery as good as original.
