Living out of state, this has to be the best bbq sauce out there!

This is our family go to bbq sauce. Highly recommend.

ABsolutely one of the best Kansas City BBQ Sauces out there. I first experienced this saw in Kansas City on a business trip. They were selling it at Oklahoma Joes. They have a nice pork rub "Sweet Spot" I like as well. I live in Chicago and I can find the rub here but the sauce isn't sold in stores here at all. I ordered it and I must say it was a nice experience to be able to get it but at almost $16 a bottle, I eventually found it online elsewhere a little cheaper. I was able to get a gallon jug for $20. I am glad I was able to find it, but the price was a bit steep.

I had originally bought it for a recipe which I haven't been able to try yet, but a few days ago I decided to make barbecued chicken wings and try it on them. I thought the taste was much too tangy for the mild wings, though, and mixed some cider vinegar and Tabasco in a bowl and stirred in a couple of tablespoons of the Cowtown Sauce, and it was perfect.

I will buy this again and again. It has thee best barbecue sauce flavor in my opinion. Plus it has a nice heat level where it make the flavor stand out even more. Goes great on anything. Well done!

I bought this bbq sauce because of the reviews and because it won "the" award in KC. Firstly, this may be the worst sauce I've ever had. Secondly, this may be the worst sauce I've ever had. Thirdly, well you get the point. Way too sweet. Way too thick. Way too yucky. Youd be better off with Hunts or Heinz. Stick with true KC winners like Gates or Arthur Bryants.

My favorite sauce from the American Royal champions. Incredible on brisket, ribs, pulled pork and chicken. Makes me miss KC.
