I got this for use at Ren Faires and SCA events. From, a distance, it looks very rustic and period. The discreet stainless steel liner allows it to be used for hot or cold beverages. It also prevents any leaking beverages. I've had several compliments on this mug since I got it. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting an economical, dependable mug for their adventures. Oh, did I mention it holds 20 ounces of your favorite beverage? That's a pint and then some.

Wood pieces don't meet up exactly, and the inner un painted portions can be seen slightly. Not terrible.Took it out to Renaissance festival. It took a beating. Dropped plenty of times. Kept my beers cold, but they didn't last long. Also took an accidental swim with it in a river......Still solid a year later.

Wood splits, vertically, then drips down your chin when drinking....

My beer immediately syarted leaking into the cup and onto my table. Now I have beer trapped between the metal and wood walls. Only used once and now I have to throw it away. Giant waste of money

Ordered two for a ren fest and they were perfect, they are very large. Most of the similar mugs I saw wouldn't even hold a full beer but this was more than enough. Its very sturdy, easy to clean and they look awesome!

The metal glass part came out after only month. Never put it in the dishwasher or anything. Tried gluing back but it didn't work. Nice looking glass while it lasted.

The mug doesn't quite manage to hold one pint (568 mls) - but nearly. Very disappointing as I bought it to replace a glass tankard that had a capacity of 600 mls. Apart from that I am very, very happy with the product.
