I got these to try and so far they have not bothered my stomach.

I decided on this particular brand, manufactured in Germany, because it is 100% goldenseal root. This matters.

The supplement was shipped and received promptly. Upon receiving the Organic Goldenseal Root capsules I opened the bottle expecting to see the capsules yellow color of the root. It was not. It's brown. It definitely has a bitter taste which I've heard is the flavor of goldenseal. This is my first purchase of goldenseal root so I had nothing to compare it to until I ordered Frontiers Organic Goldenseal Powder which has the lovely golden color. So I called and emailed the company to inquire as to what is the part of the plant used even though the label states root. They did not return my call or email inquiry. This is unacceptable. I will no longer purchase this product or any other products they might offer since they did not respond and stand behind their product.
