Not sure if they actually keep whatever mice insects etc away but they definitely make me feel more comfortable I have a tremendous phobia of insects

I was skeptic at first, but darn thing worked, we live in a tropical area and like to keep windows open, when we have fruit well flies would come. So we tried this and it keeps them away.

don't waste your money. this product does not work. we live in florida and have roaches from time to time. after setting this unit up in the kitchen along with another in the den, i found a roach just wandering around in the kitchen like he owned the place no more than 6 feet from where this protector was placed. you will do much better with monthly service or at least a cat!

Just a 9 volt battery does the trick. I see nothing, and I don't want to. I just purchased 3 more to place in a storage unit we're getting ready to get. Genius made these to work by battery.

Plus: this has the possibility to use without batteries as it has an AC option. I used this with batteries. When I turned it on, my normally skittish cat became even more skittish and looked directly at the device. I myself heard a faint trill. Does it work? I only used it for a short period, and for bugs. It worked. That said, be wary of using it around your pets. Please test first. Stars off because I can’t use around my cat.

It's simple to use and it works (mostly)

We have used these for a while to help when wood roaches swarm, but now have some german roaches, these do not seem to faze them

It smoked when I put the battery in and was never operational. Amazon should remove this garbage and refund our money. I never have written a bad review until now.
