Not my Cats fancy...
So the picture that's advertising the cat toy is completely different than what you receive. I honestly thought I was sent a wrong item but when it was replaced I got back the same black and white cheetah print and a blue and black striped cat ball. I thought I was receiving a WHOLE different item where there was a BELL inside the ball. This item does not excite my cat whatsoever and the "catnip" it states it has is either weak or not there as my cat is on the aggressive side with her catnip. She would have been chewing, tossing, and chasing after the toy if it was. Bonus is the feathers come off but I think after a while the velcro area will get dirty where the feathers won't attach. Personally, I was happy to see you could detach the feathers as my cat would make an effort to pluck them out if the toy.But I now have a toy that is collecting dust in my house, which will be donated to a shelter.

Waste of money - not recommended.
My two six month old kittens made quick work of the first ball and started eating the wool as they shredded it off. I’ve had similar toys with other cats and never had this issue. There are plenty of safer toys available so these are going in the garbage. Really disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend.

Would not allow my cats to play with these
The feathers were glued on so poorly that they pulled off one when I was taking them out of the package. The bag they were in wasn't even sealed. The round bottom MIGHT have been okay but didn't seem to be sewn that well. I love my kitties and don't want them choking on loose feathers or pieces of poorly made toys. 86'd them immediately.

He seems to enjoy the plush balls
This is the second or third time we've ordered these. The Petlinks cat toys, with the feathers, are a hit at our place.Kitty seems to enjoy the plush balls, and carries them around. The feathers are what makes these toys so appealing to your cat! The balls are light enough to play fetch. Our cat will bat one of these around, throw it in the air and play by himself as well!Just one wish: replacement feathers to purchase. Darn. Seems designed to do this, with the Velcro attachment.Lots of fun (and exercise if your cat is 'big boned' and on a diet like mine)Recommend these. Lots of fun.

Fabulous Toy For The Felines
My younger cats & my kitten love this toy. One of my cats always steals this from the kitten, the brat! They carry it around in their mouths, even all the way upstairs. I find it in the bathroom, next to my bed, at the sink... I always toss it back into their toy box & it always finds it's way back out of the toy box the same day. They all love the Busy Body Cat Toy Activity Mat & Purrfect Play Cat Toy Activity Mat so I was fairly confident they'd love this toy as it's like a mini version of the play mats. If I find the toy upstairs, I stuff it into their Grass Patch Hunting Box Cat Rest and Toy Play Box that I keep upstairs for them. I stuff all sorts of toys in the play box (they lost most of the balls that come with it) & the cats love it! You just can't go wrong with any of these toys!

seems dangerous to me.
this toy arrived today, 2/11/15, purchased for $6.67 for a set of two from Amazon. yes, my kitten who has never ruined a toy went crazy and it took less than half an hour for feathers to start showing up on the floor that she tore off from frenzied play. and she was already swallowing feather fluff. i do not see how swallowing feather fluff can be good for her. a little across the space of a few hours, maybe, but not immediately! so i took the toy away from her and will not even let her play with it when supervised. amazon processed a refund. i'm new to cat ownership so may be looking at this all wrong, but before today, she has never torn up a toy, not even with hours of voracious play over a period of days or even weeks.after initially writing this review less than an hour ago, i thought maybe i was being too harsh on the toy, or too overprotective of the cat, and tried again, gave her the unused toy, thinking the first toy might have been a fluke and the other toy might hold up better. now five minutes later, eight of the feathers sit separated and laying on the floor. both toys are going into the trash immediately.

Natural fun for my 11 mo. old kitten!
Love these. My kitten, Margot, and I play catch from one end of the house to the other with these. I throw it and she runs full speed for it, but then doesn't bring it back. So then I run and get it and throw it to the other end of the house. Between these natural toys and the laser pointer, she is a happy bean and I get a bit of extra running and laughing in, at her antics, each day! One note - the ball with the rope was not secure. She was able to pull out two full pieces the first time. The remaining pieces of rope in the ball seem to be better anchored.

Huntress Kitten Loves this Toy!
My kitten (11 months) has loved this toy to death. She loves the crinkly noise it makes and all the feathers. She licked off the ears and feathers of the original toy, so we replaced it. My kitten embraced her new 'baby' and carries it around the house just like she did her old one. She has so many toys, but this is by far her absolute favorite.

Great!
First order one came with most of the feathers broken off. Luckily Amazon replaced right away. My Persian kitten goes wild for these things! Expect to find feathers everywhere, check daily to make sure no sharp middle pieces remain (should do that with all feather toys), and have fun! Kitten enjoys playing fetch with them especially if it becomes airborne, and the design makes them move unpredictably when swatted.Edit: I'm back for more 6 weeks later and kitty is still going strong with his addiction to these! I'm surprised the feathers have stayed in tact as well as they have. They are soft and seem to detach when needed instead of leaving a sharp stub in the toy. None have snapped off actually, only been pulled out over time.
