Ralph Lauren Suede 1Quart

I couldn't get it locally, and needed it for touch up. Thanks to the magic of Amazon, this was available from Albuquerque and reached me in time to finish my project. It was a perfect match (in color and also texture - which could not be replicated at Lowe's)

The color match is perfect and the service was AWESOME!! The Suede paint is hard to find so online was perfect!

Love this paint...leaves nice suede looking finish on the wall - just make sure you buy enough since you need to apply two coats to achieve the look and it goes pretty quickly

We painted a large framed rectangle of warm brown suede on our living room ceiling 5 years ago. The texture is soft and appealing, and everyone that comes into the house has loved it. Despite a fair amount of sunlight in the room, it has maintained the depth of color--which matches the chairs in the room. We just bought a new house to downsize, and I was really upset to find that Home Depot no longer carries the paint. I am so glad to have found it on Amazon.com; it is well worth the cost, and I am willing to buy it without checking color swatches since I know how nice it is from my previous use. This time, I am going to apply it to the stairway wall in my new home--which is open to the living area and will serve as a feature wall.

The color was good, the paint went on great. However, in my experience Ralph Lauren paints have a very short shelf life as compared to other brands (e.g. Behr. Despite being in tightly sealed cans the paint separated into a semi-solid rubbery mass and a thin almost clear liquid that could not be re-mixed. That means that if you use this paint brand you won't easily be able to do touch up painting with the leftovers and will instead have to match and buy new paint. With other brands, though some separate did occur, I've been able to stir the paint and re-use it for touch-ups years later.

I bought RL suede paint over 9 years ago for my living room. The walls I painted have maintained their color (dark taupe), still look fresh and elegant and is definitely durable. I went to purchase a can a few months ago to do some touchup after I had a wall unit removed, and was disappointed to find they no longer sell it @ Home Depot. Glad I found it on Amazon. I highly recommend this paint, it's definitely worth the cost.

This paint is not forgiving. Difficult to get a consistent application if not a professional. I painted kitchen myselfand left streaks and different color tonesl. Behr paints morr forgiving and provide a consistent finish
